How to set up a drip campaign

Step 1: Open Drip Campaign Settings

Inside REsimpli:

  1. Click:

Settings

(located in the lower-left corner)

  1. Select:

Drip Campaigns

Step 2: Choose the Drip Campaign Type

You can create campaigns for:

  • Leads

  • Buyers

  • Vendors

  • Sold Properties

For this example:

  • Select:

Lead Drip Campaign

Step 3: Create a New Drip Campaign

Click:

Add Drip Campaign

Step 4: Name Your Campaign

Example:

New Website Leads Follow-Up

Use descriptive names so campaigns are easy to identify later.

Step 5: Add Your First Campaign Step

Example setup:

  • Trigger after:

5 Minutes

from the time the lead is added.

Step 6: Select the Campaign Action

REsimpli supports multiple action types:

Action Type

Purpose

Send text messages

Add Tag

For this example:

  • Select:

SMS

Step 7: Configure the SMS

You can:

  • Select an existing SMS template
    OR

  • Write a custom message

Example SMS

Hey [First Name], this is Jenna from [Company Name].

You filled out a form on our website about your property at [Property Street Address].

What time are you free to chat?

For the first outbound SMS:

  • Include your registered business/company name

  • This helps maintain compliance with carrier regulations

Step 8: Optional Scheduling Rules

You may choose to:

  • Skip weekends

  • Skip public holidays

Step 9: Add Additional Steps

Click:

Assign task to:

Step 10: Continue Follow-Up Automation

Step 11: Add Direct Mail

Example:

  • Send Direct Mail

You may choose:

  • Business Letters

  • Yellow Letters

Additional Mail Settings

You can configure:

  • Mail Design

  • Preview Mail Piece

  • Return Name

Example Return Name:

OR dynamically insert:

Step 12: Save the Campaign

Once finished:

  • Click:

Add Campaign

Step 13: Activate the Drip Campaign

Inside the Lead Profile:

  1. Open the lead

  2. Click:

Actions
  1. Select:

Activate Drip
  1. Choose the drip campaign you created

Best Practices

  • Use personalized merge fields

  • Keep SMS short and conversational

  • Include company name for compliance

  • Space out follow-ups naturally

  • Use tasks to keep team members accountable

  • Combine SMS + calls + mail for better response rates
