Turn the active lead into a dead lead by following these steps:
Navigate to ‘Leads’ > ‘Active Leads’.
2. Select the lead that you want to turn into a dead lead.
3. Click the dropdown list on ‘Lead Status’ and select ‘Dead Lead.’ A notice will pop up.
4. Mark the action for the pending tasks, and hit ‘Continue.’
5. Select the reason by checking the box. It is essential to mark the reason correctly, as you have hundreds of leads, and your team members are going through the leads and reviewing the data. This is to have a better KPI on the reasons.
6. Hit ‘Update Status’.
7. To view the reason, go to ‘Leads’ > ‘Dead Leads.’ Go to the ‘Lead Details’ tab, scroll down, and see the ‘Dead Leads’ reason.
