FAQ: How to add a marketing campaign to a lead?

Answer:

First, what is a marketing campaign? A marketing campaign is a tracking number in REsimpli to track where leads are coming from.

If you have four lead sources, for example, Pre-Foreclosure, Cold Calling, Probate, and Direct Mail, each lead source will have its marketing campaign, and each campaign has its dedicated tracking number (or phone numbers).

Here are the different ways you can add a marketing campaign to a lead:

  • Whenever a lead calls a specific phone number assigned to a marketing campaign, for example, in the phone number assigned to ‘Probate List-Hammond,’ that caller is automatically assigned to that campaign; that is how the lead is automatically added to a campaign.

  • You can add a marketing campaign by creating a lead manually;

  1. Go to ‘Lead’ and click ‘Active Leads.’

  1. Click ‘+Add Lead’

  1. Enter the details into the fields;

    1. Lead Name

    2. The phone number for the leads

    3. Select the lead source

    4. Select the campaign

    5. Hit ‘Add Leads.’

The lead is then added for the selected campaign.

  • Edit an existing lead and add them to an existing campaign.

  1. Go to ‘Lead’ and click ‘Active Leads.’

  1. Select the lead.

  1. Go to ‘Actions’ in the upper right corner of the ’Lead Details’ page.

  2. Click the ‘Pencil’ icon.

  1. Go to the ‘Lead Source’ field, click the dropdown list, and select a different lead source. The ‘Change Campaign’ window will open.

Important Note:

  • Be mindful that when changing from one campaign to another, you may have different teams working for different campaigns.

  • Once the campaign has changed, the team working on that campaign will also change.

  1. Confirm the selection by clicking ‘Confirm’.
