How to create a task template?
Answer:
Create a task template by following the steps below:
Navigate to your profile in the upper right section and click 'Manage Templates.'
2. Click the ‘Task Templates’ tab.
3. Click ‘+Add New’. The Task Template window will open.
4. Fill out the fields:
a. Template Name
b. Task Name
c. Task Type
d. Details
e. Assigned To
f. Select Role
g. Priority - select on the dropdown list.
h. Task Due - select the task due within specific periods.
i. ‘Would you link to notify the assignee on the task creation?’ - turn the toggle ‘on’ if ‘yes’ or ‘off’ if no. If yes, select the method of notification.
j. ‘Add Reminder’ - click ‘Add Reminder’ to set the reminder schedule. Click the dropdown arrow to select.
k. Click ‘Add Template’.
You may assign the task template to a specific lead once the task template is created. To do that, follow these steps:
Navigate to ‘Lead’ and click ‘Active Leads.’
2. Select the lead you want to assign a task. The lead detail page will open.
3. Click the ‘Tasks & Appts’ tab.
4. Click ‘+Add Tasks.’ A new window will open.
5. Click the ‘Lead Task’’ tab and fill out the fields.
a. Select Task Template - click to select a task template. Once a template is selected, the rest of the fields will be auto-populated.
b. Hit ‘Create Task’.
6. Go to the Tasks section to view the task created.
