How do I set up Call Flow?

Procedure

Call Flow is the setup for inbound call forwarding, ensuring you can answer all incoming calls to your REsimpli phone numbers. Make sure to set it up correctly and exactly the way you want it to be.

Important Note: The ‘Call Flow’ must be set up before purchasing a phone number.

Set up the call flow by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Settings’ icon in the bottom left corner. A new window will open.

2. Click ‘Call Flow’ under the ‘Marketing’ tab. A new window will open.

3. Click ‘Add Call Flow’ in the upper-right corner. The ‘Setup Call Flow’ window will open.

4. Click on the ‘Business Hours’ tab.

5. Fill out the fields.

  • Call Flow Name - Name the call flow to identify its intention quickly.

  • Incoming Call Recording - Enable the toggle to ensure that the incoming calls are recorded.

  • Caller ID—Enable the toggle to display the lead’s/caller’s number, or disable the toggle to display the REsimpli number.

  • Timezone - Click the dropdown list to select the timezone.

  • Schedule Day, Time, and Time Slot—Use the dropdown lists to select the day, time, and time slot.

  • IVR (Interactive Voice Response) - Enable the toggle to activate.

  • Greet Caller—Enable the toggle to activate. When activated, it plays a greeting message to the caller.

  • Add Forward Type—You can choose Single Forward, Simultaneous, Voice Mail, or ‘Round Robin’ forward types. The system will require you to select a recorded greeting if Voice Mail is selected. Note: The acceptable file formats are MP3 and WAV.

  • Check ‘Enable Whisper Message’ to ensure a missed call will be forwarded to the voicemail.

  • Missed Call SMS - Enable the toggle to activate.

  • Missed Call RVM - Enable the toggle to activate.

  • Repeat Caller - Enable the toggle to activate.

6. Click the ‘Non-Business Hours’ tab and follow the steps to fill out the fields in the ‘Business Hours’ tab. Note: The system will not resume without setting up this section.

7. Click ‘Add Call Flow.’

8. Return to the ‘Settings’ page.

9. Click ‘Phone Numbers’ under the ‘General’ tab to select the call flow that you’ve set up.
