How Do I Set Up Global Tasks?

Procedure

The ‘Global Task’ is an automation. It enables you to set up tasks that must be completed when a lead changes its status.

Here are steps on how you can set up global tasks:

  1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ in the bottom left corner.

2. Click ‘Global Tasks’ under the ‘Automation’ tab. The different tabs for different pipelines will be displayed.

3. Click on the tab where you want to create a global task.

4. Click ‘Add a task’ in the upper left section. A small window will pop up.

5. Fill out the fields. In creating global tasks, you can do the following:

  1. Select a task type.

2. Assign tasks to roles. Note: All the roles added to your REsimpli account appear in this section.

3. Set a task due.

4. Notify the user by SMS, Email, or both SMS and Email.

5. Set a task reminder by clicking ‘Add Reminder.’ Reminders can be sent via SMS or Email.

6. Hit ‘Create Task.’ A new task will be added to the selected pipeline.

Editing a Global Task.

  • Select a global task to edit.

  • Click the ‘Pencil’ icon under the ‘Actions’ column.

  • Edit the necessary fields, and hit ‘Update Task.’

Deleting a Global Task

  • Select a global task to delete.

  • Click the ‘Delete’ icon under the ‘Actions’ column.

  • Confirm the deletion of the task by clicking ‘Yes.’
