Overview

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Sharad Mehta and Tyler Scott hosted a solopreneur and small team masterclass webinar at 1:00 PM Pacific / 4:00 PM Eastern.

The session walked through account setup from the ground up, covering: marketing campaigns and KPI tracking, pipeline and status design, lead assignment automations, Tyler's live automation walkthrough, dashboards and leaderboards, speed-to-lead AI behavior, appointment-triggered automations, eSign draft saving, and the upcoming Claude integration for non-technical users.

  • Campaigns no longer require a dedicated phone number. Use separate campaigns for each marketing channel (direct mail absentee, direct mail probate, PPL provider A, PPL provider B, PPC) so you can track ROI per source in the marketing KPI dashboard. Attach a phone number only when the call to action is "call or text me" (direct mail, cold calling). Skip the phone number for web form, PPC, and PPL leads.

  • Tyler demonstrated his full pipeline: new leads, attempted contact, can't reach, appointment set, underwriting, offer made, under contract, and long-term nurture. Each status has a corresponding automation. The "can't reach" automation doubles as a re-engagement campaign: drag cold leads into it and the system starts outreach, AI calls, and texts automatically.

  • At a minimum, follow up with every lead once a month with a call or text. Tyler recommended a single general follow-up automation that rotates simple messages ("looking to buy one more property this month, are you looking to sell?") every 30 days. Advanced automations can come later.

  • Tyler shared that his automations can be copied to any user's account through support. Email tyler@resimpli.com to request them. Automations will be added under manual assignment so they do not fire immediately.

  • Speed-to-lead AI does not book an appointment when the seller's interest is categorized as "neutral" or "later." A feature request was raised to allow appointment booking on neutral leads as well. The workaround is setting a task on neutral leads so a human follows up.

  • A delay option for speed-to-lead (for example, wait 3 minutes for a human to call first, then fall back to AI) was requested. Sharad will check with the team whether the system can detect an active human call and skip the AI trigger.

  • Automations can move leads to a new status when an appointment is booked. Set up an "other trigger" automation with "appointment booked" as the trigger and "change status" as the action.

  • The eSign platform does not currently support saving drafts. REsimpli is acquiring its own eSign platform, which will include drafts, custom field variable mapping, and other requested features. No timeline was provided.

  • REsimpli is building a simplified Claude integration that will let non-technical users connect their account without writing code. Expected this month.

The call closed with Sharad confirming the rest of the week's schedule.

00:10:30 Campaigns no longer require a dedicated phone number; use separate campaigns per marketing channel to track ROI in the KPI dashboard

Sharad and Tyler walked through campaign setup for solopreneurs. In 5.0, every campaign required its own phone number, which got expensive when segmenting by list type. In 6.0, campaigns can be created without a phone number. Use a phone number only when the marketing channel's call to action is "call or text me" (direct mail, cold calling). For PPL, PPC, and web form leads, create a campaign per provider or source without attaching a number. This lets you track spend, leads, and revenue per source in the marketing KPI dashboard without paying for extra phone lines (00:18:38).

Path: Settings > Marketing Campaigns > Create Campaign (phone number optional)

Path: Analytics > Marketing (KPI tracking per campaign)

Q: Do I need a phone number for every marketing campaign in REsimpli 6.0? A: No. Phone numbers are only needed when the marketing calls for the seller to call or text you (direct mail, cold calling). PPL, PPC, and web form campaigns do not need a phone number.

Q: How do I track which marketing channel is making me the most money? A: Create a separate campaign for each channel or provider. Go to Analytics > Marketing to see spend, leads, and revenue per campaign.

Q: Should I create one campaign for all PPL providers or separate ones? A: Separate. Create one campaign per PPL provider (Company A, Company B). After 4 to 6 months, you will see which provider has the highest ROI in your market.

00:18:50 Pipeline and status setup for solopreneurs: Tyler's full pipeline with automations on every stage and long-term nurture as the final stop

Tyler walked through his pipeline: new leads, attempted contact, can't reach, appointment set, underwriting, offer made, under contract, and long-term nurture. Each status has a corresponding automation. The "can't reach" status doubles as a re-engagement bucket: when leads go cold or stop responding, drag them into "can't reach" and the automation sends texts, AI calls, and tasks over 30 days. After 30 days with no response, the automation moves the lead to long-term nurture, which sends a quarterly follow-up (00:44:47).

Tyler emphasized that beginners do not need complex automations. A single automation that sends one text every 30 days ("looking to buy one more property this month, are you looking to sell?") is enough to outperform most competitors who do zero follow-up.

Q: What pipeline stages should a solopreneur use in REsimpli 6.0? A: Tyler recommends: new leads, attempted contact, can't reach, appointment set, underwriting, offer made, under contract, and long-term nurture. Each stage has a corresponding automation.

Q: What is the simplest automation I can set up as a beginner? A: One text every 30 days to every lead in your pipeline. Rotate simple messages like "looking to buy one more property this month, are you looking to sell?" That alone puts you ahead of most investors.

Q: How does Tyler use the "can't reach" status? A: As both a can't-reach bucket and a re-engagement campaign. Drag cold leads into it and the automation handles outreach for 30 days. After 30 days, it moves the lead to long-term nurture for quarterly follow-up.

00:43:02 Tyler's automations can be copied to any user's account through support; email tyler@resimpli.com to request them

Tyler offered to share his full automation library with any user. Automations will be copied into the requesting user's account under manual assignment so they do not fire immediately. Users without AI enabled should delete the AI call steps and replace them with a text or email. The automation copy feature between accounts is being formalized; currently it requires a backend support ticket (00:44:03).

Q: How do I get Tyler's automations copied to my REsimpli account? A: Email tyler@resimpli.com and request them. Support will copy them into your account under manual assignment. If you do not have AI enabled, delete the AI call steps and replace them with texts or emails.

01:30:17 Speed-to-lead AI does not book appointments for "neutral" leads; a delay option and appointment booking on neutral were requested

A user reported that speed-to-lead AI spoke with an interested seller but categorized him as "neutral" because the seller said he was "just getting offers." No appointment was booked and no task was created. The user requested that appointment booking be enabled for neutral leads, not just interested ones. Tyler suggested setting a task on neutral leads as the current workaround (01:34:06).

The same user requested a delay option for speed-to-lead (for example, wait 3 minutes before the AI calls, giving a human a chance to call first). Sharad said he would check with the team whether the system can detect an active human call and skip the AI trigger automatically (01:32:55).

Q: Why did the speed-to-lead AI not book an appointment even though the seller was interested? A: The AI categorized the lead as "neutral" rather than "interested." Currently, appointments are only booked for leads categorized as interested. A feature request is open to allow appointment booking on neutral leads as well.

Q: Can I add a delay to speed-to-lead so a human can try calling first? A: Not yet. This was raised as a feature request. Sharad is checking whether the system can detect an active human call and skip the AI trigger. Currently speed-to-lead fires immediately.

Q: What should I do with leads the AI categorizes as neutral? A: Set a task on neutral leads so a human follows up. You can configure this in the AI settings under the neutral category.

01:35:05 Automations can move leads to a new status when an appointment is booked using the "appointment booked" other trigger

A user asked whether setting an appointment automatically moves the lead to the "appointment set" status. Sharad demonstrated the setup: go to Automations, select "other trigger," choose "appointment booked" as the trigger, and add "change status to appointment set" as the action. This eliminates the need to manually drag leads after booking (01:35:22).

Path: Automations > Other Trigger > Appointment Booked > Change Status

Q: Does booking an appointment automatically move the lead to a new status in REsimpli 6.0? A: Not by default. Set up an automation with "other trigger" > "appointment booked" > "change status" to automate this.

Q: Can I trigger an automation when an appointment is booked? A: Yes. Use the "other trigger" automation type and select "appointment booked" as the trigger. You can then add any action: change status, add task, send notification, or move to another automation.

02:18:01 REsimpli is acquiring its own eSign platform with drafts, custom field variable mapping, and expanded functionality

A user asked whether eSign contracts can be saved as drafts so they are ready to send when the seller answers the phone. Tyler confirmed that draft saving is not available in the current third-party eSign integration. REsimpli is in the process of acquiring its own eSign platform. Once integrated, it will support drafts, custom field variable mapping (every custom field available as an eSign variable), and other frequently requested features. No timeline was provided (02:20:50).

Q: Can I save an eSign contract as a draft in REsimpli? A: Not yet. The current eSign uses a third-party platform that does not support drafts. REsimpli is acquiring its own eSign platform, which will include draft saving.

Q: Will custom fields be available as variable fields in eSign? A: Yes. The new eSign platform will support every custom field as a variable, so contracts auto-fill with lead data. No launch date has been announced.

00:04:13 A simplified Claude integration for non-technical users is being built and expected this month

Sharad mentioned that the team is building a simplified way to connect a REsimpli account with Claude so that non-technical users do not need to write code or understand APIs. The previous week's masterclass covered an advanced OpenAPI and Claude integration that required technical knowledge. The simplified version is expected this month (00:04:27).

Q: Do I need technical skills to connect REsimpli with Claude? A: Not for much longer. A simplified integration is being built for non-technical users. The current method requires OpenAPI knowledge, but the new version will make it simple. Expected October 2026.

[Announcement] 02:22:14 Tomorrow is an open office hours call; Thursday is a Dispo masterclass webinar; Friday is open office hours

Points to Remember:

  • Create separate marketing campaigns for each channel and provider so you can track ROI per source. Phone numbers are only needed for direct mail and cold calling campaigns.

  • Set up at least one follow-up automation that texts every lead in your pipeline once a month. A single rotating message is enough to start.

  • Tyler's full automation library can be copied to your account. Email tyler@resimpli.com to request it. Automations arrive under manual assignment so they do not fire immediately.

  • Speed-to-lead AI does not book appointments for neutral leads. Set a task on neutral leads so a human follows up.

  • Use the "appointment booked" other trigger to automatically move leads to the appointment set status when an appointment is created.

  • The eSign draft-saving feature is coming with the new eSign platform REsimpli is acquiring. No timeline has been announced.

  • The bulk automation limit is now 500 records per day. The 1-minute minimum delay between automation steps will be reduced once system load stabilizes.
