Overview
A call script is the wording you follow when you speak to someone on a call. You save it in REsimpli once, then bring it up on screen while you dial.
You can write scripts for your leads, buyers, vendors, agents, and the prospects in your list stacking.
Steps
Part 1: Add a Call Script
Step 1: Open your call scripts
Click Settings in the lower-left corner of your screen.
Click Communication and Marketing.
Click Call Scripts.
Step 2: Start a new script
Click the Add Script button.
Step 3: Name your script
Add a call script title.
Pick something that tells you when to use it. The video uses a script for cold calling.
Step 4: Write your script
Type the wording you want to follow into the call script text box.
Step 5: Add dynamic fields (optional)
A dynamic field fills itself in with the person's real details when you open the script.
For example, you can add:
The seller's first name
The property's street address
REsimpli fills these in automatically if the information is saved on the lead. Add as many as you like.
Step 6: Format your script (optional)
You can make your script easier to read while you are talking. You can add:
Bullet notes
Links
A photo
Bold text to make a phrase stand out
Lay it out however works best for you.
Step 7: Save your script
Add the call script.
It will appear in your list with the date it was added. You can edit or delete it later.
Part 2: Use Your Script While Calling
Step 8: Switch to List view
Go to your Active Leads pipeline and switch to List view.
You can also view leads in grid view or map view, but the dialer only works from list view.
Step 9: Choose who to call
To call specific records only, apply a filter first.
To call everyone in the pipeline, click Selected, then Select All.
Step 10: Open a dialer
Click Actions, then choose your dialer:
Single Line Dialer — dials your records one at a time, one number after another.
Triple Line Dialer — dials three numbers at a time.
Step 11: Choose your dialing mode
If you are using the triple line dialer, pick how calls connect:
Connect First — you are connected instantly.
Answering Machine Detection — REsimpli checks the line first and waits for the result. This works best for high-volume, hands-off sessions.
Hover your mouse over each option to see more detail.
Step 12: Attach your script
Select the call script you created.
Then add a fallback number.
Step 13: Start calling
Tick I Accept the Terms and Conditions.
Click Continue.
Your call script will appear on the right side of your screen while you dial.
Important Notes
Scripts can be used for leads, buyers, vendors, agents, and list stacking prospects.
Dynamic fields only fill in if that information is saved on the lead. A blank usually means the detail is missing from the record.
You must be in List view to reach the dialer. Grid and map views will not work.
Single Line dials one number at a time. Triple Line dials three at a time.
Answering Machine Detection is the better choice for long, hands-off calling sessions.
You can edit or delete a saved script at any time.
Troubleshooting
You cannot find the dialer
Switch to List view in your Active Leads pipeline. The Actions menu is not available in grid or map view.
Your script did not appear during the call
You may not have attached it when setting up the dialing session. Your script is selected during setup, before you accept the terms.
A dynamic field is blank
That detail is missing from the lead. Dynamic fields pull from information already saved on the record.
You only want to call certain leads
Apply a filter before selecting. Otherwise Select All picks up everyone in the pipeline.
You cannot start your dialing session
You may not have accepted the terms. Tick I Accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Continue.
Summary
You created a call script and used it on a call. You opened Settings, Communication and Marketing, and Call Scripts, then added a title, your wording, dynamic fields, and formatting. You then switched to list view, selected your leads, opened the single line or triple line dialer, attached your script, accepted the terms, and started calling with the script on screen beside you.
