How to Set Up the Voice Follow-Up Specialist in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

The Voice Follow-Up Specialist is an AI agent that makes outbound follow-up calls for you. You can start it manually on a lead, or build it into your automations.

It asks the questions you choose, works out how interested the seller is, and then does what you have told it to do next.

Steps

Step 1: Open the agent

  1. Click AI Agents in the left panel, then AI Marketplace.

  2. Open Individual Agents and find the Voice Follow-Up Specialist.

  3. Click Add Voice Follow-Up Specialist.

Step 2: Fill in the basics

  • Assistant name — what your AI is called. The video uses Jane.

  • Company name — your business name.

  • Company website — your web address.

Step 3: Check the greeting

The greeting is set for you and cannot be customized.

There are two versions built in: one used when the property address is available, and one used when it is not.

Step 4: Confirm consent

Tick the consent checkbox before you go any further.

By ticking it, you are confirming that you have the necessary consent to contact these people using an AI agent, including auto-dialed, pre-recorded, and artificial voice calls and texts.

Step 5: Choose a voice

Pick from the available voices. These are the same voices used by the Inbound Sales Coordinator.

Step 6: Choose a sales technique

This sets the questioning style your AI uses:

Technique

How it works

Default

A balanced, conversational style focused on qualifying and agreeing next steps.

Sandler

Pain-focused questioning, upfront contracts, and controlled conversations.

NEPQ

Emotion-driven questioning that surfaces the seller's motivation.

Step 7: Add your business location

Enter your city and zip code.

Step 8: Set up lead qualification

Choose your property type: residential or land.

Then choose what you want the AI to confirm or collect on the call. The video selects:

  • The property address

  • The condition of the property

  • Timeline

  • Occupancy

  • Motivation

  • Price expectation

  • Deal killers or concerns

  • Decision makers

The AI only asks a question if that information is missing from the lead profile. Anything already saved on the lead will not be asked again, so you can safely select more questions than you expect to need.

Step 9: Choose whether the AI makes offers

Dynamic Offer Generation lets the AI work out an offer during the call. It uses three calculation methods in order:

  1. Wholesale MAO — the primary strategy

  2. ARV basis — the first backup

  3. EV basis — the estimated value from the REsimpli database

Leave this off if you would rather handle offers yourself. Contact customer support if you have questions about how the calculations work.

Step 10: Set your call outcomes

Decide what the AI does in each of four situations.

Interested — the seller wants to sell. Choose one:

  • Schedule a phone appointment

  • Transfer the call live

  • Tell the seller someone from your team will call back

  • Send a booking link so the seller can book a call themselves

Then choose who it goes to. The video assigns it to whoever is the Acquisition Manager on that lead.

Neutral or later — the seller is not ready yet. You can trigger an automation, or add a task such as Seller Follow Up 1.

Not interested — add a tag, such as Not Interested.

Unanswered — nobody picked up. The video has the AI leave a voicemail.

Step 11: Save your agent

  1. Check your setup carefully.

  2. Tick the checkbox again at the end. This is easy to miss.

  3. Click Add Outbound Voice AI.

Important Notes

  • This agent makes outbound calls. You can run it manually on a lead, or include it in an automation.

  • The greeting cannot be customized. Two versions are built in, depending on whether the property address is known.

  • The consent checkbox is required. You are confirming you have permission to contact these people with auto-dialed, pre-recorded, and artificial voice calls and texts.

  • The AI skips any question it can already answer from the lead profile, so selecting more questions does not mean longer calls.

  • Unlike the inbound agent, this one handles four outcomes, including neutral sellers and unanswered calls. Set up all four or those calls will go nowhere.

  • Dynamic Offer Generation is off unless you turn it on. Only enable it if you are happy for the AI to make offers on a call.

  • There is a second checkbox at the very end. Your agent will not save without it.

Troubleshooting

You cannot move past the basics

  • You may not have ticked the consent checkbox. It has to be confirmed before you can continue.

You cannot change the greeting

  • The greeting is fixed for this agent. Only the Inbound Sales Coordinator lets you write your own.

The AI is not asking a question you selected

  • That information is probably already on the lead profile. The AI only asks for what is missing.

Nothing happens when a seller says they are not ready yet

  • That is the neutral or later outcome. Set it to trigger an automation or add a follow-up task.

Nothing happens when a call goes unanswered

  • Set the unanswered outcome, for example to leave a voicemail.

Your agent did not save

  • There is a checkbox at the end that is easy to miss. Tick it, then click Add Outbound Voice AI.

Summary

You set up a Voice Follow-Up Specialist. You opened the agent, filled in your name, company, and website, confirmed consent, and chose a voice, sales technique, and business location. You selected the questions it should ask to qualify a lead, decided whether it could generate offers, and set what happens for interested, neutral, not interested, and unanswered calls. You then ticked the final checkbox and clicked Add Outbound Voice AI.
