How to Use the Goal Tracker in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

The Goal Tracker shows how you are performing against the targets you have set — leads, qualified leads, appointments, and the other numbers you are working towards.

Each figure is shown against its target, so you can see at a glance what is on track and what is not.

Before You Start

The Goal Tracker reports against the numbers you enter under Goal Setting. If nothing has been set there, there is nothing for it to measure against.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Goal Tracker

  1. Click Dashboards — the third icon on the left panel.

  2. Click Goal Tracker.

Step 2: Read your progress

By default the tracker shows your goals for the current year.

For each measure you will see the target you set and the current count against it. For example:

  • A yearly leads goal of 5,000, currently at around 4,600

  • A qualified leads goal of 380, currently at 12

  • Appointments set, with its own target and count

Step 3: Filter by type

Use the type filter to narrow the view to the measures you care about.

Step 4: Filter by date

You can look at a specific period instead of the whole year — for example 1 July to 31 July.

Set your dates and click Continue.

Step 5: Apply without saving

If you only need the view once, you can apply the filter without saving it.

The tracker will then show that period's figures and how many goals were met.

Important Notes

  • The Goal Tracker defaults to the current year. Change the date filter before drawing conclusions about a shorter period.

  • Targets come from Goal Setting. If a figure looks wrong, check the target that was entered there rather than the tracker itself.

  • Filtering by date shows how many goals were met in that period, which is useful for reviewing a month rather than a year.

  • You can apply a filter without saving it, the same way as elsewhere in REsimpli.

Troubleshooting

Your targets are missing or wrong

  • They are set under Goal Setting. The tracker only reports what has been entered there.

Your progress looks low

  • Check the date range. The tracker opens on the full year, so a partial year will always look behind an annual target.

You want to review a single month

  • Set the date filter to that month and click Continue.

You only need the view once

  • Apply the filter without saving it.

Summary

You used the Goal Tracker. You opened Dashboards and Goal Tracker to see your targets alongside your current counts for leads, qualified leads, and appointments set. You filtered by type and by date range, applied the filter without saving, and reviewed how many goals were met in that period.
