Buyers support the full range of contact triggers, including the four target location triggers that make dispo automation possible.

For how triggers, enrollment, and timing work generally, see Understanding Automation Triggers in REsimpli.

New Buyer Contact

Triggers when a new Buyer contact is created. Can be configured by the campaign associated with the buyer — one campaign, several, or all.

Buyer Status Change

Triggers when an existing Buyer contact is moved to a selected Buyer status. The buyer must already exist for this trigger to apply.

Activity Triggers

All six options are available:

  • Incoming SMS

  • Incoming Call

  • Direct Mail

  • Outgoing Call

  • Outgoing SMS

  • Appointment Outcome

See Understanding Automation Triggers in REsimpli for what each does and for the Full AI Team subscription requirement on the two AI intent triggers.

Other Triggers

Tags

Triggers when any of the selected tags are added to a Buyer contact.

Target County

Triggers when a selected Target County is added to the buyer. The automation checks whether the newly added county matches your condition.

Target City

Triggers when a selected Target City is added to the buyer.

Target State

Triggers when a selected Target State is added to the buyer.

Target ZIP

Triggers when a selected Target ZIP code is added to the buyer.

New Buyer Appointment

Triggers when a new appointment is scheduled with a Buyer contact.

How Target Location Triggers Behave

The four target location triggers fire when a location is added or updated and matches your condition.

Existing target locations do not enrol a buyer. If a buyer already has Florida in their target states when you activate a Target State = Florida automation, nothing happens. Florida has to be added again, after activation.

Once enrolled, removing the location does not remove the buyer. If Florida is later taken off their targets, the buyer stays in the automation and continues through the steps.

Manual Assignment

Lets Buyer contacts be assigned to an automation by hand, individually or through supported bulk actions.

Only Manual Assignment automations can be bulk assigned, and the account-wide limit is 100 records per day.

Things to Watch

  • Target location triggers are the heart of dispo automation. They let you notify the right buyers when you pick up a property in their area — but only for locations added after the automation goes live.

  • Buyer Status Change needs an existing buyer. A brand new buyer created directly into that status fires New Buyer Contact instead.

  • Buyers with no email address are skipped by email steps. Worth knowing before building an email-heavy buyer workflow.
