Vendor triggers match Buyer and Agent triggers with one difference: there is no appointment trigger.
For how triggers, enrollment, and timing work generally, see Understanding Automation Triggers in REsimpli.
New Vendor Contact
Triggers when a new Vendor contact is created. Can be filtered by the campaign associated with the vendor — one campaign, several, or all.
Vendor Status Change
Triggers when an existing Vendor contact is moved to a selected Vendor status. The vendor must already exist for this trigger to apply.
Activity Triggers
All six options are available:
Incoming SMS
Incoming Call
Direct Mail
Outgoing Call
Outgoing SMS
Appointment Outcome
See Understanding Automation Triggers in REsimpli for what each does and for the Full AI Team subscription requirement on the two AI intent triggers.
Note that Appointment Outcome is available as an activity trigger even though there is no New Vendor Appointment trigger.
Other Triggers
Tags
Triggers when any of the selected tags are added to a Vendor contact.
Target County
Triggers when a selected Target County is added to the vendor.
Target City
Triggers when a selected Target City is added to the vendor.
Target State
Triggers when a selected Target State is added to the vendor.
Target ZIP
Triggers when a selected Target ZIP code is added to the vendor.
How Target Location Triggers Behave
The four target location triggers fire when a location is added or updated and matches your condition.
Existing target locations do not enrol a vendor. A new qualifying location event has to occur after the automation is active.
Once enrolled, removing the location does not remove the vendor. They continue through the automation steps.
For vendors, target locations describe the areas a contractor covers — so these triggers let you start a workflow when a vendor adds a market you work in.
Manual Assignment
Lets Vendor contacts be assigned to an automation by hand, individually or through supported bulk actions.
Only Manual Assignment automations can be bulk assigned, and the account-wide limit is 100 records per day.
Things to Watch
There is no New Vendor Appointment trigger. Buyers and Agents have one; Vendors do not. The Appointment Outcome activity trigger is still available.
Vendor Status Change needs an existing vendor. A new vendor created directly into that status fires New Vendor Contact instead.
Blacklisting a vendor is not an automation trigger. It stops them being selected for new work but does not start a workflow, and does not remove them from live jobs.
