6.0 Office Hours - Oct 14 - 6PM ET

Written by Tazoar Ahsan

Overview

Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Sharad Mehta hosted an office hours Q&A at 6 PM Eastern. Approximately 53 minutes.

  • Most post-launch bugs are resolved. The two main updates still coming are automation defer start (delay before first step fires) and a popup when changing lead status that asks whether to keep or stop active automations. Cold calling campaigns are also returning to the list stacking dialer.

  • Live Zoom support wait time has been reduced to zero as of Monday, October 12. Sharad receives hourly reports via Slack tracking queue depth, calls handled, and average wait time.

  • Opt-out marketing tags (opt-out SMS, opt-out direct mail, opt-out all marketing) are currently indicators only. They do not stop automations or block messages. A future update next month will make them available as both triggers and actions in automations.

  • Multiple A2P registrations under one account (for separate brands with different websites and EINs) are coming by end of year. The workaround is setting up multiple accounts with a discount on the second and third.

  • Call duration in the communication log includes ring time, making KPI reporting inaccurate. The tooltip incorrectly says "ring time and voicemail time are excluded" when it should say "included." A ticket is open with Twilio.

  • Notification filtering by pipeline and status is being built. Currently notifications can only be filtered by campaign.

  • Customizable status popups per pipeline are being explored: force an appointment booking when moving to an appointment stage, or prompt for offer date and amount when moving to offers made.

00:04:01 Most post-launch bugs are resolved; automation defer start, status-change popup, and cold calling campaigns are the remaining major updates

A user asked whether the system is fully stable. Sharad confirmed that most bugs have been worked out and the team is now focused on restoring workflows users were accustomed to in 5.0. The two main automation updates still coming are defer start (delaying an automation's first step after the trigger fires) and a popup when dragging a lead to a new status that shows whether an active automation is running and asks whether to keep it or stop it. Cold calling campaigns (pushing list stacking records into a separate dialer section) are also returning, with additional changes to the list stacking dialer included in that update (00:06:08).

Q: Is REsimpli 6.0 stable enough to fully set up and use?
A: Yes. Sharad confirmed most bugs are resolved. The remaining major updates are automation defer start, a status-change popup for active automations, and the return of cold calling campaigns.

Q: Will REsimpli warn me if a lead has an active automation when I change its status? A: Yes. An upcoming update will show a popup when you drag a lead to a new status, telling you an automation is active and asking whether to keep it or stop it.

00:06:51 Live Zoom support wait time reduced to zero as of Monday, October 12, with hourly queue reporting to Sharad

Sharad showed a Slack message from his team demonstrating the hourly support queue report: number of users waiting, number of Zoom calls handled, and average wait time, tracked every hour from noon Eastern onward. Since Monday, October 12, the wait time has been at zero. Additional team members were added to the live Zoom support line. Users can access support through the self-help section at help.resimpli.com, which includes an AI messenger for basic questions, and then escalate to a live Zoom call with no wait (00:08:01).

Path: Help (bottom left) > Self Help > AI Messenger or Live Zoom Call

Q: How long is the wait for live Zoom support in REsimpli?
A: As of October 12, 2026, Sharad reports zero wait time. Go to Help > Self Help and click the live Zoom option.

Q: Is there an AI chatbot for support questions in REsimpli? A: Yes. The AI messenger at help.resimpli.com handles basic questions. For more complex issues, escalate to a live Zoom call from the same page.

00:13:13 Opt-out marketing tags are currently indicators only and do not stop automations; triggers and actions coming next month

Lyndon asked whether marking a lead as "opted out of SMS" prevents SMS automations from sending to that lead. Sharad confirmed it does not. The opt-out tags (opt-out SMS, opt-out direct mail, opt-out all marketing) are currently visual indicators only with no enforcement behind them. A future update coming next month will make these tags available as both triggers and actions in automations. Once live, users will be able to set up automations such as: when opt-out SMS is selected, move the lead to a call-only drip that excludes text steps. Until then, the tags are informational only and do not block any messages (00:15:05).

Q: Does marking a lead as "opt-out SMS" in REsimpli stop text automations from sending to that lead?
A: No. The opt-out tags are currently visual indicators only. Automations will continue sending texts regardless. An update next month will make these tags function as triggers and actions in automations.

Q: When will opt-out tags work as automation triggers?
A: Next month (approximately November 2026). Once live, you can set up automations like: when opt-out SMS is selected, move the lead to a call-only drip.

00:15:28 Trial accounts have a 100-SMS limit to prevent spam; a user's credit top-up and conversational AI auto-enable bug are being investigated

A trial user reported being unable to send texts despite Sharad having asked the team to add 5,000 credits to his account on Monday. Sharad confirmed that trial accounts have a 100-SMS limit to prevent abuse. He checked with his team and found the credits were applied Monday at 11:21 AM Pacific but the user still could not send. Sharad escalated to investigate. The same user reported that conversational AI is auto-enabling on all new leads without being configured. Sharad confirmed this as a separate bug and will have it checked (00:17:55).

Q: Is there an SMS limit on REsimpli trial accounts?
A: Yes. Trial accounts are limited to 100 SMS to prevent spam. Contact Sharad or support to have additional credits added if you need to test further.

00:18:00 Running three brands under one REsimpli account requires separate A2P registrations; multiple A2Ps per account coming by end of year

A user with three separate brands (land, homes, realtor) with different websites and EINs asked whether all three can run from one REsimpli account. Sharad explained that if the brands share one A2P registration, all outbound texts will show the same company name regardless of which brand the lead came from. For truly separate brands, each needs its own A2P registration, which currently requires a separate REsimpli account. REsimpli offers a discount on the second and third account. Multiple A2P registrations under one account are coming by end of year. Users with one brand but multiple business lines (residential, land, storage) can use separate pipelines and campaigns within a single account and A2P (00:22:45).

Q: Can I run multiple brands with different A2P registrations from one REsimpli account?
A: Not yet. Each A2P registration currently requires its own account. Multiple A2Ps under one account are coming by end of 2026. In the meantime, set up separate accounts with a discount on the second and third.

Q: If my brands share one EIN, do I need separate A2P registrations?
A: Not necessarily. If all brands operate under one entity, you can use one A2P and separate them with different pipelines and campaigns. Texts will show the same company name. If you need different company names on outbound texts, you need separate A2Ps.

00:22:57 Cash buyer text replies do not show which property the buyer is responding to; property address in reply notifications requested

Cynthia reported that when cash buyers reply to a text blast, she cannot tell which property they are asking about. The buyer's activity log shows the last message sent, but if multiple properties are blasted to the same list on the same day, the reply context is lost. Sharad recommended sending one property blast at a time and waiting for responses before sending the next. He also suggested including the property address in the text template itself so buyers' replies reference it naturally. Sharad will check with the team about including the property address in the reply notification (00:30:29).

Q: How do I know which property a cash buyer is replying about when they respond to a text blast?
A: Include the property address in your text template so the buyer references it in their reply. Send one property blast at a time and wait for responses before sending the next. The team is looking into adding the property address to reply notifications.

00:31:52 Call duration includes ring time, making KPIs inaccurate; the tooltip incorrectly says ring time is excluded; ticket open with Twilio

Cade demonstrated that his lead manager's call duration in the communication log includes ring time, making reported talk time significantly higher than actual talk time. With 80 to 100 dials per day and an average ring time of 25 seconds, approximately 42 minutes of phantom talk time inflates the KPIs. The tooltip in REsimpli currently says "ring time and voicemail time are excluded," but Sharad confirmed it should say "included." The actual call recording reflects true talk time, but the duration field in the log includes ring time. A ticket is open with Twilio to separate ring time from talk time in the data REsimpli receives (00:34:42).

Q: Does call duration in REsimpli include ring time? A: Yes. The call duration in the communication log includes ring time, which inflates reported talk time. The actual call recording reflects true talk time. A ticket is open with Twilio to fix this.

Q: Why does the tooltip say ring time is excluded when it's actually included? A: This is a known error in the tooltip text. It should say "ring time and voicemail time are included." Sharad confirmed the fix is pending.

00:35:17 Notification filtering by pipeline and status is being built to replace campaign-only filtering

Cade requested the ability to filter notifications by pipeline stage rather than only by campaign. His team shares campaign phone numbers across markets and needs notifications routed based on which pipeline stage a lead is in, not which campaign it belongs to. Sharad showed a mockup confirming this is being built: each notification type will have an option to select specific pipelines and statuses, so team members only receive alerts relevant to their role (00:37:13).

Q: Can I filter notifications by pipeline stage in REsimpli? A: Not yet, but this is being built. Currently notifications can only be filtered by campaign. The upcoming update will let you select specific pipelines and statuses per notification type.

00:48:52 Appointment templates requested for pre-populated fields; customizable status popups per pipeline being explored for offer-made and appointment stages

Cade requested appointment templates similar to task templates, with pre-populated fields for appointment type, assignees, and details. Sharad noted this has not been requested before but acknowledged the use case for teams running 3 to 4 recurring appointment types. The appointment form currently remembers the last settings used but does not support saved templates (00:50:04).

Cade also asked about bringing back the 5.0 popup that appeared when moving a lead to "offers made," which prompted for offer date and amount. Sharad confirmed the team is exploring customizable popups per status per pipeline: when a lead is moved to a specific status, the system prompts for required information (offer date, offer amount) or forces an appointment booking. This would be configurable per pipeline so different pipelines can have different prompts. The goal setting validation that prevents reordering "offers made" above "appointments kept" will also be reviewed, since some teams make offers without appointments (00:52:55).

Q: Can I create appointment templates with pre-populated fields in REsimpli? A: Not yet. The appointment form remembers the last settings used, but saved templates are not available. This was raised as a feature request.

Q: Will REsimpli bring back the offer-made popup that asks for offer date and amount?
A: Yes. The team is exploring customizable popups per status per pipeline. When moving a lead to a specific status, the system will prompt for required information or force an appointment booking. This will be configurable per pipeline.

Q: Why can't I reorder "offers made" above "appointments kept" in goal setting?
A: A validation currently prevents this. Sharad is checking with the team about removing the restriction, since some teams make offers without appointments.

00:53:24 Announcement: Tomorrow is a pipeline setup webinar on acquisition, dispo, and transaction pipelines at the webinar link sent via email

Points to Remember:

  • Opt-out marketing tags (opt-out SMS, opt-out direct mail) do not currently stop automations. They are visual indicators only. Enforcement is coming next month.

  • If you have multiple brands with different EINs and websites, each needs its own A2P registration, which currently requires a separate REsimpli account. Multiple A2Ps under one account are coming by end of year.

  • Call duration in the communication log includes ring time. Do not use it for talk-time KPIs. Use the actual call recording length instead.

  • Include the property address in your cash buyer text template so replies reference the property naturally.

  • Notification filtering by pipeline and status is being built. Until then, notifications can only be filtered by campaign.

  • Live Zoom support is running at zero wait time. Access it through Help > Self Help at the bottom left of the screen.

  • All webinar recordings and office hours recordings are available at help.resimpli.com under Self Help > Webinars and Office Hours.

  • Results-Driven is building a direct mail template for 6.0, expected in 2 to 3 weeks.
