6.0 Office Hours - Nov 4

Written by Tazoar Ahsan

Overview

REsimpli's AI agents are now included in all new Solo, Team, and Business plans, with no separate AI agent subscription fee. During the November 4 Office Hours, Sharad Mehta explained the updated usage-based pricing, demonstrated how Comp AI analyzes properties, and previewed two upcoming autonomous AI agents designed to generate leads and book seller appointments.

The session also covered practical ways to find wholesale deals through real estate agents, create SMS templates and automations, troubleshoot missed notifications, and handle A2P messaging requirements. Sharad then shared a live example of how his investing team uses AI to qualify sellers and schedule appointments, including calendar availability, appointment types, AI voice settings, and planned custom conversation scripts.

Office Hours Details

00:02:23 — Are REsimpli AI Agents Included in the New Plans?

Yes. All AI agents are included in the new Solo, Team, and Business plans without a separate subscription fee. Users only pay for certain AI activities.

Sharad confirmed the following usage rates:

AI activity

Cost

Inbound and outbound AI calls

$0.50 per minute

AI-generated SMS

$0.03 per message

Comp AI

$2 per comp

Features such as AI lead summaries, lead scoring, pre-call briefings, and seller psychology insights are included without additional usage charges.

00:04:24 — How Does Comp AI Help Investors Evaluate Properties?

Comp AI uses MLS comparables to help investors evaluate properties without manually researching every recent sale.

Sharad demonstrated how the tool pulls comparable properties, including sale information and photographs. It also considers information gathered during seller conversations, such as the owner's motivation and asking price.

He noted that investors with reliable MLS access might not need it as often, but it could be especially useful for those without direct access to comparable sales data.

00:06:36 — How Do You Book a REsimpli Onboarding Call?

Office Hours and onboarding calls are separate sessions.

Office Hours take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and are open to general questions. New users should receive a separate onboarding booking option after signing up.

If you cannot find your appointment link, check the email used during registration and look for the assigned account manager inside REsimpli.

Sharad also recommended contacting the onboarding team if the appointment confirmation is missing.

00:09:05 — Do Failed or Automated SMS Messages Use Credits?

On legacy plans, SMS credits are deducted when a message is sent, even if delivery fails. This applies to both manually sent messages and automation-generated SMS.

Credit usage also depends on message length and character encoding. While a standard SMS segment generally supports 160 characters, emojis and certain special characters can reduce the number of characters permitted per segment. As a result, longer messages or messages containing special characters may consume additional credits.

00:10:28 — Which AI Agent Should a New Investor Start With?

An investor who was already cold calling several hundred prospects daily asked which AI agent would be most useful for getting a first deal.

Sharad recommended looking at the upcoming autonomous prospecting agent, which was being developed specifically to work through property lists and generate leads.

Rather than manually managing each calling and follow-up activity, investors would be able to select a prospect list and let AI handle the outreach.

The agent was still in development at the time of this session.

00:11:20 — How Will Autonomous Prospecting and Lead Manager AI Work?

REsimpli was developing two autonomous agents with distinct responsibilities.

Autonomous Prospecting AI would work through selected List Stacking records, make calls, send texts, follow up, and identify potential leads.

Autonomous Lead Manager AI would take over once a lead was created, manage conversations and follow-ups, and work toward booking an appointment.

Sharad explained that both agents were designed to update records and move opportunities through the appropriate stages without requiring users to build separate automations.

Testing was planned for November, with a tentative rollout discussed for December 2026. Neither agent was presented as generally available during the call.

00:14:23 — How Can Wholesalers Find Deals Through Real Estate Agents?

For investors entering competitive markets, Sharad recommended building relationships with local real estate agents rather than spending too much time developing a cash buyers list before finding a deal.

His suggested process was to create a targeted list of agents within specific cities or ZIP codes and reach out regularly about potential investment opportunities.

These conversations could uncover upcoming listings, off-market properties, and opportunities that fit an investor's buying criteria.

Sharad also suggested explaining how an ongoing relationship could benefit the agent, such as the possibility of receiving the listing when a renovated property is resold.

00:18:37 — How Does Bulk SMS Scheduling Affect Deliverability?

REsimpli does not provide a precise message-per-minute pacing control for the bulk SMS workflow shown during the session.

Sharad explained that a batch of approximately 100 messages might be distributed over several minutes rather than delivered simultaneously.

He emphasized that recipient engagement and opt-outs are important factors in message deliverability. Sending smaller batches alone does not guarantee that messages will avoid spam filtering.

Investors should send relevant messages to appropriately opted-in recipients and respect unsubscribe requests.

00:20:46 — Why Aren't Call and SMS Notifications Coming Through?

An attendee reported receiving inconsistent mobile notifications for incoming calls and text messages.

Sharad reviewed the account and confirmed that notifications appeared inside REsimpli's notification center, even though the attendee was not consistently receiving mobile push alerts.

He recommended checking whether notifications were enabled on the device, ensuring the REsimpli mobile app was updated through the App Store, and sharing examples with support.

The issue remained under investigation, with Sharad arranging additional testing.

00:26:43 — Why Does REsimpli Include Opt-Out Language in Initial SMS Messages?

REsimpli requires identifying information and opt-out language in certain first-time one-to-one messages as part of its messaging compliance approach.

Sharad explained that A2P 10DLC registration and the wording included in messages are related but separate considerations.

The platform does not automatically enforce the same wording in the bulk SMS composer, but its initial one-to-one messaging process applies the required identification and opt-out text.

He confirmed that REsimpli was not offering a workaround to bypass this requirement. The company maintained the policy to reduce messaging compliance risks for customers and the platform.

00:33:54 — How Do You Create SMS Templates and Follow-Up Automations for Agents?

Sharad demonstrated how to send messages to a selected group of real estate agents and reuse the same outreach wording.

To send a message, open Contacts → Agents, select the contacts, and choose Send SMS. You can type a new message, select an existing template, or create a reusable template.

For automatic responses, go to Automations → Agents → Activity Trigger.

From there, users can create workflows based on incoming SMS activity and send follow-up messages according to the conditions they configure.

00:36:55 — What's the Difference Between Legacy and New REsimpli Plans?

Sharad clarified that Solo, Team, and Business plans include the same product features, including AI agents.

The primary difference between the new plans is team size rather than access to individual features. AI calling, messaging, and comps remain usage-based.

Legacy customers can review available upgrade pricing through Profile → Change Plan.

However, Sharad emphasized one important limitation: once a legacy customer upgrades to a new plan, they cannot return to the previous legacy plan. He recommended reviewing current usage and costs before making that decision.

00:39:07 — How Is REsimpli AI Booking Seller Appointments?

Sharad opened his investing account to demonstrate actual appointments booked by REsimpli AI agents.

His team uses AI to answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, and continue conversations when sellers respond to messages.

When a seller is qualified and interested, AI can schedule an appointment for a lead manager or acquisition manager.

Sharad reported that his own team was receiving approximately two to three AI-booked appointments per day. This was an example from his operation, not a guaranteed performance benchmark.

00:42:54 — Can AI Book Phone and In-Person Appointments?

Yes. REsimpli AI can be configured to schedule phone appointments, in-person appointments, or either type depending on the lead.

Sharad demonstrated how investors can specify preferred appointment types according to geographic areas. For example, sellers within selected ZIP codes could be offered in-person meetings, while sellers outside those areas could receive phone appointments.

AI also checks the assigned user's calendar and books appointments based on actual availability.

00:44:25 — How Can You Improve AI Conversations and Seller Qualification?

Sharad recommended testing different AI voices and adjusting qualification questions based on the kind of information your team needs.

He highlighted the "Kathy" voice as his preferred option because it sounded natural in his testing.

The discussion also covered conversation memory. If a seller has already provided an address or reason for selling, AI can use that information during a later interaction rather than asking the same questions again.

Sharad's approach was to gather useful seller details while keeping the primary objective focused on booking appointments. He noted that AI can be configured to make offers within set criteria, although he had not enabled that functionality in his own workflow.

00:47:18 — Will Users Be Able to Upload Custom AI Conversation Scripts?

Sharad confirmed that custom AI conversation scripts were on REsimpli's development roadmap.

The planned capability would allow investors to define how AI should respond in specific situations, including questions about creative financing, seller objections, and particular acquisition strategies.

The team was prioritizing autonomous prospecting and lead management before introducing deeper conversation customization.

Custom script uploads were not yet available during the session.

00:49:44 — Where Can You Find REsimpli Office Hours and Masterclass Recordings?

Past training sessions are available inside REsimpli through Help → Self Help.

The Office Hours section contains recordings from the regular Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Q&A sessions.

The Webinars section includes topic-specific Masterclasses, such as dispositions, automations, lead management, and AI workflows.

Recordings also include transcripts and chapter breakdowns to help users find answers without watching an entire session.

Points to Remember

1. AI agents are included in new plans. Solo, Team, and Business subscribers pay usage fees for AI calls, AI messages, and Comp AI rather than a separate agent subscription.

2. Two autonomous agents were in development. One was designed to generate leads from List Stacking; the other would manage those leads and book appointments.

3. Agent outreach can uncover off-market deals. Build targeted real estate agent lists and maintain relevant, compliant communication to develop potential acquisition opportunities.

4. AI can already help book appointments. Configure qualification questions, appointment types, calendar availability, and follow-up behavior according to your team's workflow.

5. Check your plan before upgrading. New plans include the same core features across tiers, but switching away from a legacy plan is irreversible.
