How to Keep REsimpli Voicemails Inside the System
Step 1: Open the Call Flows Page
Go to Settings, then select Call Flows.
Step 2: Create or Edit a Call Flow
Create a new call flow or edit an existing one.
Step 3: Configure the Forward Number
Under Forward Type, select Single Forward and enter the phone number where calls should ring first.
Step 4: Enable Whisper Message
Turn on Whisper Message.
This prevents missed call voicemails from going directly to your personal cellphone voicemail and helps identify forwarded REsimpli calls before answering.
Step 5: Add a System Voicemail Step
Configure a second step in the call flow for voicemail handling.
You can:
Select an existing voicemail recording
Upload a voicemail recording
Record a new voicemail directly in the system
Step 6: Save the Call Flow
Save the updated call flow configuration.
Step 7: Test the Setup
Test the call flow to confirm:
Calls ring your phone first
Missed calls route to the REsimpli voicemail system after the set ring duration
Voicemails stay inside REsimpli instead of your cellphone voicemail
Step 8: Contact Support if Needed
Reach out to REsimpli support if you need help configuring call flows or voicemail settings.
