Understanding the Two Buyer Permission Settings

Buyers Permission

The Buyers permission controls what actions the user can perform inside the Buyers module.

If full access is enabled, the user can:

  • View buyer records

  • Edit buyer information

  • Call buyers

  • Send SMS

  • Send emails

  • Manage buyer and agent contacts

Access to Buyer

The Access to Buyer setting controls which buyer records the user can view.

Available options include:

  • Access to All Buyers

  • Access to Assigned Buyers Only

Step 4: View Buyer Ownership

To check buyer ownership:

  1. Navigate to the Buyers page

  2. Open a buyer record

  3. Locate the Owner field

This identifies which user the buyer is assigned to.

Example Scenario

If a team member:

  • Has full Buyers module permission

  • But only has access to assigned buyers

They will:

  • Be able to fully manage buyer records

  • But only see buyers assigned to them

Result

User Management allows account owners to:

  • Control buyer visibility

  • Restrict access to assigned buyers

  • Manage communication permissions

  • Customize team member access levels
