Overview
Other Triggers covers the changes to a buyer's own details — most usefully their target city, the area they are looking to buy in.
Set a condition, and REsimpli acts as soon as a buyer matches it. This is how you react automatically when a buyer's buying criteria line up with what you have.
Steps
Part 1: Build the Automation
Step 1: Open your buyer triggers
Go to Automations.
Click Buyers.
Select Other Triggers.
Click Add Automation.
Step 2: Choose the condition
Select the condition that should trigger the automation.
The video uses target city. When a buyer's target city is set to Addison, the automation runs for that contact.
Step 3: Set your timing
Choose your delay preference and default time zone, then click Save.
Step 4: Add an SMS step
To message the buyer:
Select one of your templates, or type the message.
Choose the phone number to send from.
Step 5: Add a task for your team
Add a task step.
Select one of your task templates, or create the task here.
Select the assignee.
Step 6: Add any other steps
You can also:
Add a tag
Assign or unassign a team member
Notify team members
Change the buyer's status
Stop other automations — specific ones, or everything currently running on that buyer
Step 7: Save
Click Save.
Part 2: Test It
Step 8: Check the buyer first
Open a buyer and check their automations. There should be none active.
Step 9: Meet the condition
Update the buyer's target city to the one your automation watches for — Addison in this example — and save.
Step 10: Confirm it ran
Check the buyer's automations again. Yours will now be active.

Important Notes
Target city is a buyer's own criteria, so this automation reacts to what a buyer is looking for rather than to something you did.
A buyer matching a target city is a natural moment to alert your dispo team, so notify team members is a sensible step here.
Task steps can pull from your existing task templates rather than being written from scratch.
Stopping other automations can be targeted — everything running on the buyer, or only the ones you name.
Checking the buyer's automations before and after the change is the simplest way to confirm the trigger works.
Troubleshooting
Your automation did not run
Check the condition against the buyer's details. A target city automation only fires when that exact city is set.
Your SMS did not send
Check the message and the sending phone number on that step.
A task was created with nobody assigned
Check the assignee on the task step.
The buyer is still in other automations
Add a stop other automations step, choosing whether to stop all of them or specific ones.
You want to know when steps will run
Open the automation from the buyer record. Each step shows its execution date and time.
