Overview
The Notification Center collects everything waiting for your attention in one place: missed calls, tasks, texts, and any time a colleague mentions you.
It is the quickest way to see what you have missed without going through the system section by section.
Steps
Step 1: Open your notifications
Click the bell icon at the top right of your screen.
If there is a number on the bell, that is how many unread notifications you have.
Step 2: Look through everything
By default you will see all your notifications together, including:
Calls
Tasks
SMS
Mentions and tags from your team
Step 3: Filter by type
Use the tabs to look at one kind of notification at a time:
Tab | What it shows |
Calls | Your missed calls. |
Tasks | Tasks assigned to you and due today, along with anything due or past due. |
SMS | Missed texts and texts you have received recently. |
Mentions | Any time a colleague mentioned you or tagged your name in a comment. |
Step 4: Clear your notifications
Click Mark All as Read once you have been through them.
Important Notes
The number on the bell is your unread count. If it is gone, you are up to date.
The Tasks tab shows anything overdue as well as what is due today, so it is worth checking even when the bell is quiet.
Mentions only appear when someone tags your name in a comment. It is easy to miss these anywhere else in the system.
Marking all as read clears the count but does not complete your tasks or reply to anything.
Troubleshooting
You have unread notifications you cannot find
Check each tab. The default view shows everything, but filtering by calls, tasks, SMS, or mentions makes it easier to spot what you are after.
You did not know a colleague needed you
Check the Mentions tab. Tags and mentions in comments show up there.
Your notification count will not clear
Click Mark All as Read.
You are not receiving notifications at all
That is controlled by your notification settings rather than this page. Check that your notifications are switched on in your profile.
