How to Set Up Your Notifications in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

Notifications tell you when something happens in your account. You choose which ones you want to receive, and how each one reaches you.

You would use this to stay on top of what matters to you, without being interrupted by everything else.

Steps

Step 1: Open your notification settings

  1. Click the drop-down in the top-right corner of your screen. It shows your profile picture.

  2. Click Go to Profile.

  3. Click Notifications. You will find it next to the Details tab.

Step 2: Choose the notifications you want

Pick the kinds of notifications you want to receive. Your choices are:

  • Money Signals

  • Pipeline

  • Conversation

  • AI

  • Delivery and Compliance

  • Team Collaboration

  • Dispo

  • General Notifications

To see what is inside each one, scroll down the page. Each group lists the notifications it covers.

Turn on the ones you want. The video turns on Pipeline and Conversation.

Step 3: Understand the priority levels

Every notification is given a priority level. The levels are:

  • Critical

  • Important

  • FYI

  • Digest

  • Off

You decide which notifications belong at each level. It is up to you what counts as critical and what is just an FYI.

Step 4: Choose how each level reaches you

This is called routing and delivery. For each priority level, pick how you want to be told. Your choices are:

  • A push notification on the mobile app

  • An SMS

  • In the app, meaning your browser

For example, the video sets Critical to send a push notification, an SMS, and an in-app alert. You can set the other levels differently.

Step 5: Set the level for each notification

Go through your notifications and set the priority level for each one you want to receive.

Step 6: Let your changes save

There is no Save button on this page. Your changes save automatically as you make them.

Step 7: Make sure notifications are switched on

Check the bell in your profile. It should show as Active.

If it does, your notifications are working.

Step 8: Pause your notifications (optional)

If you want to stop all notifications for a while:

  1. Click the Active button.

  2. It will change to Pause.

No notifications will reach you until you switch it back to Active.

Important Notes

  • There is no Save button. Your changes are saved as soon as you make them.

  • The bell in your profile must show Active. If it shows Pause, you will not receive anything, no matter how your settings are set up.

  • Priority levels are yours to decide. Nothing is critical or unimportant by default.

  • Setting a notification to Off means you will not receive it at all.

  • Scroll down inside each notification group to see exactly what it covers.

Troubleshooting

You are not receiving any notifications

  • Your notifications may be paused. Check the bell in your profile and make sure it shows Active, not Pause.

You are not receiving one specific notification

  • That notification may be set to Off, or its group may be turned off. Check the group first, then check the priority level for that notification.

You cannot find the Save button

  • There isn't one. This page saves your changes automatically.

Notifications are reaching you the wrong way

  • Check your routing and delivery settings. Each priority level has its own delivery choices: mobile push, SMS, and in-app.

You are getting too many notifications

  • Lower the priority level for the ones you do not need urgently, or set them to Off. You can also turn off a whole group.

Summary

You set up your notifications. You opened your profile, chose which notification groups you wanted, and set a priority level for each one. You then chose how each level reaches you, by mobile push, SMS, or in the app. Your changes saved automatically, and you checked that the bell in your profile was set to Active.
