What statuses does a pipeline start with?
New Lead and Under Contract. New Lead can be renamed; Under Contract cannot be renamed or removed. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 0:24
I can't see the options to rename or add a status.
Switch to Grid view. The options do not appear in other views. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 0:44
How do I rename a status?
In grid view, click the three dots next to the status, click Change Title, enter the name, and click Update. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 0:57
Where does a new status appear?
Always just before Under Contract. Use Move Status to reorder. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 1:34
How many pipelines and statuses can I have?
Up to 20 pipelines, each with up to 20 customisable stages. (Day 1 and Day 4 Webinars)
Can I undo deleting a status?
No. If leads are in that status, REsimpli asks where to move them first. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 2:38
What are the ways to change a lead's status?
Drag and drop, open the lead and pick a new status, or select many leads in list view and use Actions then Change Status. ▶ Customize Lead Statuses — 3:12
How do I move a lead to a different pipeline?
For one lead, click the pen icon and use the Pipeline Status section at the bottom of the edit window. ▶ Change Lead Pipeline — 0:46
How do I move many leads to a different pipeline?
Filter your leads, switch to list view, select them, then click Actions and Change Status. The pipeline choice is inside that option. ▶ Change Lead Pipeline — 2:49
I can't find an option to change the pipeline in bulk.
It is inside Change Status, despite the name. That is where you choose both the pipeline and the status. ▶ Change Lead Pipeline — 3:06
How do I flag a lead that needs attention now?
Click the Hot Lead action button and choose Mark as Hot Lead. A fire icon appears on the lead. ▶ Hot Leads — 0:30
How do I see only my hot leads?
Click the fire icon in the top-right corner of your screen. Click it again to clear the filter. ▶ Hot Leads — 0:57
How do I unmark a hot lead?
Click the fire icon on the lead, or use the Actions tab. ▶ Hot Leads — 0:41
When does a lead get marked as qualified?
Not automatically at any stage, except when a property goes under contract. Otherwise mark it manually, or use an automation — for example on reaching a particular stage or receiving a tag. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
What happens when I mark a lead as dead?
It moves out of your active leads into the Dead Leads pipeline. The lead profile stays for documentation and reporting. ▶ Filter Dead Leads by Reason — 0:10
REsimpli also asks whether you want to clear all tasks associated with that lead. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
Do I have to give a reason when marking a lead dead?
Yes. A prompt appears, and you can add your own reason if the one you need is not listed. ▶ Filter Dead Leads by Reason — 0:41
Can I see why leads are being marked dead?
Yes. Filter on the dead lead reason for reporting and future marketing. ▶ Filter Dead Leads by Reason — 1:26
Where can I check why a specific lead was marked dead?
The lead's activity log records the status change and the reason. ▶ Filter Dead Leads by Reason — 2:17
How do I add a single lead by hand?
Click Add Lead inside a pipeline, or the New button from anywhere in the system. Both open the same form. ▶ Manually Add a Lead — 0:10
Why is the form asking for an APN instead of an address?
You selected Land as the property type. Residential asks for a property address; land asks for an APN or reference ID. ▶ Manually Add a Lead — 0:51
Are land leads fully supported?
Yes. Land is a supported lead type including APN lookups, and Comps AI supports land comps. (Day 1 and Day 3 Webinars)
What is the fallback communication number on a new lead?
The number used for outbound calls and texts to that lead. If your marketing campaign already has one, that takes precedence, and you can leave this blank. ▶ Manually Add a Lead — 1:09
How do I contact a lead from their profile?
Hover over their contact information for the direct mail, call, SMS, and email icons, or use the Actions menu under Communications. ▶ Marketing in a Lead Profile — 0:31
Where do I record that a lead has opted out?
In the Actions menu. Opt-out options are only there, not on the hover icons. ▶ Marketing in a Lead Profile — 1:02
What is a lead exit type?
It records what you plan to do with a property, such as fix and flip or rental. It keeps your reporting accurate and lets you filter leads by strategy. ▶ Lead Exit Types — 0:00
What exit types can I choose?
Options include Fix and Flip, Rental, Retail Listing, Wholetail, Turnkey, Wholesale Double Close, and Wholesale Assignment Contract. ▶ Lead Exit Types — 0:48
Can I change a property's exit type later?

How do I find all properties following one strategy?
Click Manage Filter, then Add Filter, and use Lead Exit Type as the parameter. ▶ Lead Exit Types — 1:23
How do I export leads from a pipeline?
Open the pipeline from the funnel icon, select your leads, then Actions and Export Selected. ▶ Export Leads From a Pipeline — 1:00
I exported my leads but no file downloaded.
Exporting and downloading are separate. Go to All Leads, open the Export Log tab, and download it from there. ▶ Export Leads From a Pipeline — 1:56
Can I choose which columns are in my export?
Yes. Uncheck fields you do not need on the data selection screen. ▶ Export Leads From a Pipeline — 1:36
6.0 Launch Webinar Q&A
From the New REsimpli Live Unveiling sessions, September 8–11, 2026.
Where does communication with buyers, agents and vendors appear now?
At the contact level, not on the lead. If you call a buyer from a lead, that conversation appears under the buyer's contact record rather than cluttering the seller lead's communication log. This is a change from the previous version. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
A seller owns two properties. Where does communication appear?
On the property you called from. To see everything you have exchanged with that person across all their properties, open their contact record under Sellers. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
A repeat seller is doing several deals with me. Should they be set up as a vendor?
No, keep them as a seller. Seller is a required field on a lead, and each new property is added under the same seller. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
What lead routing options are available?
Weighted round robin, standard round robin, first-to-claim, manual assignment, and all-team-members. (Day 1 and Day 4 Webinars)
Can different roles be assigned at different pipeline stages?
Yes. For example only a Lead Manager is assigned when a lead is created, an Acquisition Manager is added at Appointment Set, and Dispo or TC at Under Contract. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
What offer information can I record in 6.0?
Offers now capture who is making the offer, the offer date and price, the offer format, and the offer type. Formats include cash, novation, seller financing, and subject-to, with additional fields such as down payment and monthly payment where relevant, plus an "other" option with free-text notes. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
Can I change a deal's type after it has been created?
Yes. A fix and flip can become a wholesale, or a wholesale can move to a novation pipeline. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
Can I move a deal from one transaction pipeline to another?
Yes, from within the pipeline view. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
Can I update a custom field across many leads at once?
Yes. Select the leads in bulk and choose Update Custom Fields. Any new custom field you add also applies to all existing leads as well as new ones. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
Can I create custom fields while importing a list?
Yes. You can create custom fields on the fly during import, then filter on them afterwards. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
Can I change the type of an existing custom field?
No. Field types cannot be converted — an open text field cannot become a dropdown, for example — because the existing data would not match. You would need to delete the field and create a new one, which removes the stored answers. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
Can I filter leads by AI Lead Score?
Yes — for example all leads scoring 70 or higher. Lead Score can be combined with SMS filters such as incoming SMS, outgoing SMS, delivery status, and total SMS activity. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
Can I filter on date fields such as auction or foreclosure dates?
Yes, by range — this week, next week, this month — and saved filters keep updating daily. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
Can I search notes across the whole system?
Yes. Global note search covers leads, List Stacking, tasks, and contacts. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
Can more than one person hold the same role on a lead?
Yes. You can assign multiple people to any role, and you can create custom roles such as social media manager or ads manager. (Day 1 Webinar, Sept 8)
What are Markets used for?
Organising marketing campaigns when you operate in several states or locations, so team members can be identified by the area they cover. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
Why has the Listing tab disappeared from my lead?
The Listing tab is only available once a property is at or past Under Contract. On an acquisition-side lead in any earlier status it is not shown. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)
I have thousands of dead leads. What is the best way to work them?
It depends why they were marked dead. Filter by dead lead reason and revive the ones whose blocker may have cleared — for example a title issue. Leads marked dead because the property sold are not worth reworking. You can move them into a dedicated pipeline, add them to automations or the Triple-Line Dialer, or re-import them into List Stacking, where the last sold date lets you filter out anything now sold. (Day 3 Webinar, Sept 10)
Can I hide sections of a lead I do not use, and does that change what my team sees?
Yes, you can hide, unhide, and rearrange sections of the lead detail view in settings, and set which tab you land on by default. The layout is per user — each person arranges their own, and your changes do not affect anyone else. (Day 1 and Day 2 Webinars)
