Bulk Actions in List Stacking in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

Bulk actions let you do something to a whole group of prospects at once — call them, tag them, skip trace them, or send them direct mail — instead of one at a time.

Everything runs from the Actions menu, which appears once you have selected records.

Steps

Step 1: Narrow down your records

In List Stacking, apply a filter so you are only looking at the prospects you want to act on.

If you have a saved smart filter, click it to turn it on.

Step 2: Select your records

  1. Click the Selected drop-down.

  2. Click Select All to take everything in your filter, or choose the records you want.

The Actions drop-down will appear once you have made a selection.

Step 3: Open the Actions menu

Click Actions.

Step 4: Choose what to do

Action

What it does

Call

Send the records to the single line dialer or the triple line dialer.

Send direct mail

Send a mailer to the selected prospects.

Activate an automation

Turn on an automation for the selected records.

Opt-out

Record opt-outs in bulk — from mailers, all marketing, calls, and so on.

Manage tags

Add tags, or change the tags already on those records.

Manage list and marketing details

Update these manually for the selection.

Skip trace

Look up missing contact details for the selected prospects.

Assign to drive routes

Send the records to a driving for dollars route.

Export

Download the selected records.

Delete

Remove the selected records.

Step 5: Example — tagging a group

To tag everything in your filter:

  1. Click Manage Tags.

  2. Enter your tag, such as August 2026 to record when the leads came in.

  3. Click Update Tags.

Every selected record now carries that tag.

Important Notes

  • The Actions menu only appears after you select records. If you cannot see it, nothing is selected yet.

  • Filter first, then select. Whatever is selected when you open Actions is what the action applies to.

  • Select All takes everything in your current filter, not everything in List Stacking. Check your filter is right before using it.

  • Opt-outs can be recorded in bulk, which is useful after a mail drop generates responses.

  • Tagging with a date, such as the month the leads arrived, makes a batch easy to find again later.

  • Delete is in this menu. Be careful with your selection before using it.

Troubleshooting

The Actions menu is not appearing

  • You have not selected any records. Use the Selected drop-down and choose your records first.

Your action applied to more records than you expected

  • Select All takes every record in your active filter. Check the filter before selecting.

You cannot find an action you expected

  • Some actions depend on the feature being set up — for example, drive routes relate to Driving for Dollars, and dialers require a dialing session.

You tagged the wrong group

  • Reselect the correct records and use Manage Tags to remove the tag from them.

Summary

You used bulk actions in List Stacking. You applied a filter to narrow your prospects, used the Selected drop-down and Select All to choose them, and opened the Actions menu. From there you could call, send direct mail, run an automation, record opt-outs, manage tags, skip trace, assign to drive routes, export, or delete — applying the change to every selected record at once.
