How to Use the Communication KPI Tab in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

The Communication KPI tab shows how much calling and texting your team is actually doing, and how well it is connecting.

You can look at one person at a time, over any period, across both calls and SMS.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Communication KPI tab

You will see two tabs:

  • Call KPIs

  • SMS KPIs

By default the dashboard shows data for the entire year.

Step 2: Choose a team member

Click the drop-down on the right side and select the person whose KPIs you want to see.

The view then shows that person's calling and texting activity.

Step 3: Read the call KPIs

For the person selected, you will see:

  • Total number of calls

  • Connection rate

  • Calls by the hour

  • The top campaign they are calling from

Calls by the hour is worth attention — it shows when someone is actually dialling, which often explains a low connection rate.

Step 4: Change the time period

You can narrow the view to a specific period or a range of dates.

Choose your period, click Continue, then Apply without saving if you only need it once.

Step 5: Check the SMS KPIs

The SMS KPIs tab works the same way, with the same user and date filters.

Important Notes

  • The dashboard defaults to the whole year. Change the period before judging someone's recent activity.

  • Connection rate matters more than call volume. A high number of calls with a low connection rate points to a list or timing problem rather than an effort problem.

  • Calls by the hour shows when calls are being made, which is useful when connection rates are poor.

  • Top campaign tells you which list a person is actually working.

  • You can apply a date filter without saving it, the same as elsewhere in REsimpli.

Troubleshooting

The numbers look higher than expected

  • Check the period. The tab opens on the full year.

Someone's connection rate is low

  • Look at calls by the hour to see when they are calling, and the top campaign to see which list they are working.

You are seeing the whole team rather than one person

  • Use the drop-down on the right to select an individual.

You want SMS figures instead

  • Switch to the SMS KPIs tab. The same filters apply.

Summary

You reviewed your communication KPIs. You opened the tab, chose between Call KPIs and SMS KPIs, and selected a team member from the drop-down. You read their total calls, connection rate, calls by the hour, and top campaign, then changed the time period and applied the filter without saving.
