How to Add Vendors to the Triple Line Dialer in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

You can build a dialing session from your vendor contacts — useful when you need to reach several contractors about the same job or get quotes moving quickly.

A script is mandatory. You cannot start a session without selecting one, along with the dialing mode, abandoned call threshold, and the number you are calling from.

Steps

Step 1: Open your vendors

Click the Contacts icon on the left panel, then go to Vendors.

Step 2: Select who you want to call

Select the vendors for this session.

A saved list or filter is the quickest way in if you call the same group regularly.

Step 3: Open the Actions dropdown

Once you have made your selection, the Actions dropdown appears. Click it.

Step 4: Click Add to Triple Line Dialer

Click Add to Triple Line Dialer.

Step 5: Choose your dialing mode

  • Connect First — the agent connects instantly

  • Answering Machine Detection First — the system screens for an answering machine before connecting

Step 6: Choose a script

This is required. Select the script for the session.

Step 7: Set the abandoned call threshold

Set how many seconds before a call is treated as abandoned. This is also required.

Step 8: Choose the number you are calling from

Select the number the session dials from. Also required.

Step 9: Set up a voicemail drop

Optionally turn on automated VM drop, then either:

  • Select an existing audio recording

  • Upload a new one

  • Record a new one here

Step 10: Set your exclusions

Exclude contacts you do not want dialled, by:

  • Phone type

  • Phone status

  • Last call outcome

Step 11: Accept and continue

Click I accept the terms and conditions, then click Continue.

Important Notes

  • The script, the abandoned call threshold, and the calling number are all mandatory. If you cannot start a session, one of these is missing.

  • The setup is identical for vendors, agents, buyers, and leads. Only the contact list you start from changes.

  • A voicemail drop suits vendor outreach well. If you are asking several contractors to quote the same job, the same recorded message works for all of them.

  • Think about whether triple line is right for vendors. Vendor lists are usually short and these are working relationships — a dropped call to a contractor you rely on is more costly than one to a cold lead.

  • Exclude by last call outcome so you are not calling contractors you spoke to yesterday.

  • The abandoned call threshold set here is what produces the abandon rate in your reports.

Troubleshooting

You cannot start the session

  • Check you have chosen a script, set the abandoned call seconds, and selected a calling number. All three are required. Then accept the terms and conditions.

The Actions dropdown is not showing

  • Select vendors first. It appears once you have a selection.

You have no scripts to choose from

  • A script is mandatory, so you need at least one before you can run a session. Create one first.

Your callers are hitting a lot of voicemail

  • Switch the dialing mode to Answering Machine Detection First, or set up a voicemail drop.

You are calling the same vendors repeatedly

  • Exclude by last call outcome before starting.

Your abandon rate is rising

  • Check the abandoned call threshold, and consider the single line dialer for a short vendor list.

Summary

You built a triple line dialing session from your vendors. You opened Contacts → Vendors, selected the vendors you wanted, and used the Actions dropdown to add them to the dialer. You chose the dialing mode, selected a script — which is mandatory — set the abandoned call threshold and the calling number, optionally set up an automated voicemail drop, excluded contacts by phone type, phone status, and last call outcome, then accepted the terms and clicked Continue.
