Overview
On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Sharad Mehta and Tyler Scott hosted the noon office hours call, which ran approximately three hours and 47 minutes. Sharad opened with a batch of fixes shipped overnight and a detailed walkthrough of the upcoming smart routing feature, then Tyler helped run Q&A while Sharad took breaks throughout.
The "screen size not supported" error has been fixed. The list stacking call bar can now be minimized during active calls. Email templates no longer freeze on accounts with many templates. Search now shows first and last name. API key reset works again. Quick due-date buttons for tasks are fixed.
Filtered list navigation in list stacking is fixed: clicking Next now takes you to the next record in the filtered list instead of a random record.
DNC information is now populated during skip tracing.
Tasks and appointments in calendar view are now clickable and open in a new tab; this also works in list view.
The call flow bug where repeat calls were not forwarding correctly has been fixed. "Route repeat call based on property status" is now available for all plans.
Smart routing (the number one requested feature) is being built with three outbound number options: smart routing (record number, then last-communication number, then campaign number, then personal fallback), campaign routing (campaign number then personal fallback), or fixed "my number" for all calls. Each team member can set their own preference. Smart routing will apply retroactively to all existing leads once live, shipping by end of the week.
Two onboarding videos are available: one for reactivating stopped automations after the migration, and one for troubleshooting lead assignment to campaigns.
Zapier two-step lead forms are currently creating duplicate leads; a fix shipping Wednesday, September 16, will merge them into one.
The incoming call popup will be updated to show the phone number label, property status, and a clickable property address.
Users requested persistent notes on the right side of the lead detail view across all tabs, similar to 5.0; Sharad said the team would look into it.
List stacking now has its own status field. Users can filter by list stacking status to exclude Not Interested, DNC, and In Leads records from future dialing sessions, replacing the old property status exclusion workflow.
Call outcomes (DNC Contact, Not Interested, etc.) can be tied to automations that change the list stacking status automatically, and the triple-line dialer supports rotating phone numbers across grouped numbers.
Direct mail postcards can be sent from within REsimpli at approximately 50 cents per card, with filters to exclude opt-outs, converted leads, and bad addresses.
Number porting in and out is handled by Jewel on the REsimpli team; the process is similar to switching cell carriers.
The call closed with Sharad confirming the evening session at 3:00 PM Pacific, which would include additional updates and a Zapier walkthrough.
00:02:34 Batch of overnight fixes: screen size error, call bar minimizing, email template freeze, search, API keys, filtered list navigation, DNC skip tracing, and call flow repeat forwarding
Sharad walked through fixes shipped overnight and that morning. The "screen size not supported" error that blocked some users is resolved. The call bar in list stacking can now be minimized so users can navigate the record while on a call. Email templates no longer freeze on accounts with many templates. Search results now show both first and last name. API key resets work again. Quick due-date shortcut buttons for task creation are functional. DNC information is now flagged during skip tracing. Clicking the task counter on the dashboard now opens a list of all leads with their task due dates, and the "other" tab on lead detail defaults to expanded (00:05:01).
Tasks and appointments in the calendar view are clickable and open in a new tab, including in list view. The call flow repeat-call forwarding bug from the day before has been fixed, and "route repeat call based on property status" is now available across all plans (00:05:38).
00:06:40 Smart routing ships by end of week with three outbound number modes: smart, campaign, and fixed fallback
Sharad demonstrated the upcoming smart routing settings using mockups. Under "outbound number preference," users will choose one of three modes. Smart routing follows a four-tier cascade: record number (a dedicated number assigned to a specific contact), then the last communication number used for that contact, then the campaign number, then the personal fallback ("my number"). Campaign routing skips the first two tiers and goes directly to campaign number, then fallback. The third option is the current behavior, where all calls use the personal fallback number (00:09:25).
Each team member can set their own preference independently, and multiple team members can share the same fallback number or use unique ones. A user asked whether smart routing would apply retroactively to existing leads or only new ones. Sharad confirmed it would update all existing leads once the feature goes live; the only requirement is having at least one fallback number configured (00:15:51).
00:10:30 Two onboarding videos are available for reactivating stopped automations and fixing lead assignment
Sharad directed users to two videos in the dashboard. The first walks through finding and reactivating automations that stopped during the 5.0 to 6.0 migration. The second explains how to assign leads to specific campaigns so they route correctly. Sharad said completing both would resolve the majority of issues users were experiencing.
00:11:30 Zapier two-step lead forms are creating duplicate records; the merge fix ships Wednesday, September 16
Users pushing leads through Zapier with a two-step form (basic info first, then detailed info) are seeing two separate leads created. A fix shipping Wednesday, September 16, will automatically merge the two submissions into a single lead record.
00:13:00 Incoming call popup will show phone number label, property status, and clickable property address
A user reported that incoming calls display only the caller's phone number with no contact details. Sharad confirmed the popup is being updated to show the phone number label, the property status, and a clickable property address that opens the lead detail.
00:13:53 Lead detail view will add notes and custom fields on the right side across all tabs
A user requested the return of the persistent notes panel from 5.0 that remained visible while switching between lead detail tabs. Sharad confirmed an update in progress will add notes and custom field columns to the right side of the activity view. A longer-term update will allow users to swap the position of the middle and right panels. Both changes are expected within a few weeks (00:14:49).
00:21:52 List stacking status replaces property status for excluding DNC, Not Interested, and In Leads records from dialing sessions
A user explained the cold-calling workflow: after a caller marks a property as Not Interested on one of its five phone numbers, the entire property should be excluded from future sessions. The old property status exclusion filter does not exist in 6.0. Sharad pointed to the new list stacking status field as the replacement. Tyler then demonstrated how call outcomes (DNC Contact, Not Interested, etc.) can be tied to automations that update the list stacking status automatically, so future filtered sessions exclude those records. The triple-line dialer also supports rotating phone numbers using grouped number pools (00:25:07).
03:43:13 Direct mail postcards can be sent from list stacking at approximately 50 cents per card, and number porting is handled by Jewel
A new user asked about direct mail. Sharad demonstrated sending postcards directly from list stacking by selecting records and choosing the direct mail option, with filters to exclude opt-outs, converted leads, returned mail, and bad addresses. Pricing is approximately 50 cents per postcard. The same user asked about porting 20 phone numbers from SmartePhone. Sharad confirmed that REsimpli initiates the port request through Jewel on the operations team, and because both platforms use Twilio, the process is straightforward (03:45:01).
03:47:03 The evening session resumes at 3:00 PM Pacific with Zapier walkthrough and additional updates
Sharad confirmed the team would return at 3:00 PM Pacific for the evening session, which would include new updates, a Zapier walkthrough, and open Q&A.
Points to remember:
Update the app and click the "new version available" bar every time it appears.
Watch both onboarding videos in the dashboard (automation reactivation and lead assignment).
Reset any Zapier integrations; the two-step duplicate merge ships Wednesday, September 16.
Smart routing with three outbound number modes ships by end of the week and will apply to all existing leads.
Use list stacking status plus call-outcome automations to exclude DNC, Not Interested, and In Leads records from future dialing sessions.
