How to Find Leads Missing a Lead Manager or Acquisition Manager

Filter for leads with no one assigned to a role, fix them in bulk, and save the filter as a daily quality check.

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

A filter can find every lead that is missing a required team assignment, and you can then assign the right person to all of them at once.

Save the filter and it becomes a daily quality-control check on whether your assignment automation is actually working.

Steps

Step 1: Open your Leads list

Step 2: Open Manage Filter

Step 3: Choose the role you want to audit

Pick the team role — Lead Manager, Acquisition Manager, or another.

Step 4: Use the "does not contain any of" condition

This is the part that finds the gaps.

Step 5: Select the users who normally fill that role

Anything that comes back has none of them assigned.

Step 6: Apply the filter

Step 7: Review the results

Confirm these records genuinely should have that role. Not every lead needs every role.

Step 8: Assign in bulk

Select the records and use Assign Team Member.

Step 9: Save the filter

Save it if you want to run this check regularly — for example No LM Assigned.

Important Notes

  • If your automation is working, this filter should usually return nothing. A filter that keeps filling up is telling you about a problem upstream, not just giving you records to fix.

  • Not every lead needs every role. Audit only the roles that should be present at that stage of your process.

  • The same method works for any role — Acquisition Manager, Dispo Manager, or a custom one.

Why leads end up missing a role

  • They are older records, created before the assignment rule existed

  • The new-lead assignment action is missing from the automation

  • A campaign was never included in the assignment automation

Frequently asked questions

Should every lead have every role assigned?

No. Use this audit for roles that should be present at that point in your process.

Can I fix several records at once?

Yes — that's the point of filtering first. Select the results and use bulk team assignment.

Troubleshooting

New leads keep appearing in the filter

  • The problem is upstream. Review Automations → Leads → New Lead Created. Fixing the records without fixing the automation means doing this again tomorrow.

The user you want is not in the assignment list

  • Review their role and permissions.

Only one campaign is affected

  • Check that campaign's automation setup. It was probably left out when the assignment rule was built.
