How to Manage and Customize Your Web Forms in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

A web form is a shareable form that feeds information straight into REsimpli. You can use it to capture leads, buyers, vendors, and other contacts.

Your team can fill it in to add records quickly, or you can send it to sellers so they enter their own details and everything lands in your account automatically.

Steps

Step 1: Open your web forms

  1. Click Settings.

  2. Click Web Forms.

From here you can create forms for your leads, buyers, agents, and vendors, and customize your website form.

Step 2: Add a new form

Click to add a new form for the type of record you want, such as leads.

Step 3: Name your form

Enter a form name.

This is the only thing the person filling in the form will see. Everything else you set up is for your own use.

You can hover over a field to see more detail about what it does.

Step 4: Choose the marketing campaign

Select the campaign these records should be attached to, such as Cold Calling.

Step 5: Choose the pipeline

Select which pipeline new leads should go into, such as Active Leads or Warm Leads.

Step 6: Choose the lead status

Select the status new leads should land in, such as New Leads, No Contact Made, or Contact Made.

Step 7: Add a market

Select the market these leads belong to, such as your primary market.

Step 8: Add a fallback communication number (optional)

You can add a fallback communication number if you want one.

Important Notes

  • The form name is the only setting visible to the person filling in the form. The marketing campaign, lead pipeline, market, and fallback communication number are all internal.

  • Because those settings are hidden, they are easy to get wrong without noticing. Check them before you share your link.

  • The pipeline and status you choose decide where every submission lands.

  • Web forms work for leads, buyers, agents, and vendors. You can also customize your website form from the same page.

  • Forms can be used by your own team to add records quickly, or sent to sellers to fill in themselves.

Troubleshooting

Your leads are landing in the wrong place

  • Check the pipeline and status on the form. Those settings apply to every submission.

A submission is not linked to the right campaign

  • The marketing campaign is set on the form itself, not by the person filling it in. Update it on the form.

You are not sure what a setting does

  • Hover your mouse over it to see the details.

Someone filling in your form asked about your campaign or pipeline

  • They cannot see either. Only the form name is visible to them.

Summary

You set up a shareable web form. You opened Settings and Web Forms, added a new form, and gave it a name — the only part the person filling it in will see. You then set the marketing campaign, pipeline, lead status, market, and an optional fallback number, all of which stay private to you.
