How to Create a Web Form for an Answering Service

Build a form that presets pipeline, status and campaign, so the answering service only answers the questions you choose.

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

Build a dedicated web form for your answering service so they only see the questions they need to fill in.

Pipeline, status, and marketing campaign are all set when you build the form — so the answering service never has to know which pipeline a lead belongs in, and your attribution stays correct without depending on someone outside your team choosing right.

Steps

Step 1: Go to your web form settings

Step 2: Create a new form for the answering service

Step 3: Name it clearly

So your team knows at a glance where those leads came from.

Step 4: Set the routing

Choose the pipeline, status, and marketing campaign the submissions should go to.

Step 5: Choose the questions

Only the ones the answering service should complete.

Step 6: Save

Step 7: Share the form link

Step 8: Test it

Submit a test lead through the same link you gave them and confirm it arrives in the right place with the right details.

Important Notes

  • Routing is configured on the form, not by the submitter. Pipeline, status, and campaign are all preset.

  • The answering service does not need to understand your pipeline. They answer questions; REsimpli does the filing.

  • Preselecting the campaign keeps attribution clean and removes a decision the person filling in the form should not be making.

  • You can have as many forms as you need — one per answering service, partner, or lead source.

  • Test the exact link you shared. Testing a different one tells you nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need one universal form for every answering service?

No. A dedicated form per service is the better approach, and it tells you where each lead came from.

Can I control which questions they see?

Yes. You choose the fields and questions on the form.

Why preselect the campaign?

It keeps attribution consistent and removes an unnecessary choice from the person submitting.

Troubleshooting

Leads are arriving in the wrong pipeline or status

  • Check the routing configured on the form, and confirm the service is using the current link.

A submission created a duplicate, or arrived without expected details

  • Save a sample and contact support.

The answering service says the form is not working

  • Confirm they are on the latest link, and submit a test through that same link yourself.
