A2P 10DLC Registration
Why do I need to register for 10DLC?
The phone carriers require it before you can send text messages. Until your registration is approved, your outbound SMS will not go out. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What do I need before I can register?
A live, compliant website, your business officially registered if you are registering as a business, and a valid EIN issued by the IRS if applicable. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
Can I register a DBA instead of my LLC name?
Yes. Contact support so they can submit your DBA for 10DLC registration. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
Do I need a website to register?
Yes, and it must be live before your registration can be submitted. You can update your existing site, or build one with the REsimpli Website Builder at https://resimpliwebsites.com/ 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What DNS records do I use for a REsimpli website?
Two A records pointing to 54.188.250.92 — one with host @ and one with host www. Wait for DNS propagation and confirm your site is live before continuing. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What does my website need to include?
SMS opt-in language, a consent checkbox, a description of the messages users will receive, your registered company name in the opt-in language, standalone Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages, and clickable links to both inside the opt-in language. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
Can I make the consent checkbox mandatory?
No. Users must be able to submit the form without ticking it. A required checkbox will fail compliance. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
Does every form on my site need opt-in language?
Every form that collects a phone number does, not just your main contact form. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What information does the registration form ask for?
Business details including your legal company name, DBA, EIN and issuing country, contact details; your website, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions URLs; your business address; and campaign information including a description and two sample messages. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What does registration cost?
$50 to enable messaging to T-Mobile numbers, a $4 carrier registration fee, and $10 per month for every 1–49 phone numbers. The guide lists a $64 one-time registration total. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
How long does carrier review take?
Around 2 to 4 weeks, though processing times vary. This is outside REsimpli's control. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
What happens when my registration is approved?
Your Brand and Campaign become active, your existing phone numbers are linked to the campaign automatically, and newly ported numbers are linked once configured. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
Will my SHAKEN/STIR registration carry over to 6.0?
Yes, including numbers submitted for registration recently. You do not need to resubmit. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
Why was my registration rejected?
The common causes are business information that does not match your documentation, EIN verification problems, website compliance issues, a missing Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions, or missing or incorrect SMS opt-in language. Fix the issue and resubmit. 📄 A2P 10DLC Registration guide
I'm approved but still can't send texts.
