Overview
List Stacking has its own search field for finding a property or owner in your stacked lists.
This is separate from global search. Global search covers your leads, contacts, and notes — List Stacking prospects are searched here.
Steps
Step 1: Open List Stacking
From your homepage or dashboard, click the List Stacking icon on the left panel. It is the fifth icon down.
Step 2: Click the search field
Click the search field with the magnifying glass, labelled Search Data.
Step 3: Type what you are looking for
You can search by:
Property owner name
Property address
Mailing address
Step 4: Read the results
The search runs in real time as you type. There is nothing to submit.
A few characters are enough. Typing part of a street number — for example 3232 — will bring up matching records.
Important Notes
Partial matches work. You do not need the full address or the exact spelling of a name. A distinctive fragment is usually faster.
The search runs as you type, so results narrow with each character.
This searches your List Stacking records only. If you are looking for a lead in a pipeline, use global search instead.
Mailing address is searchable as well as property address, which matters on absentee-owner lists where the two differ.
Owner name is often the better search on stacked lists, because the same owner may appear against several properties.
If a record does not come up, check you are searching List Stacking rather than expecting global search to reach it.
Troubleshooting
You cannot find a record you know exists
Check you are in List Stacking rather than using global search. The two search different things.
Your search returns nothing
Try fewer characters, or a different detail — the owner name instead of the address, or the mailing address instead of the property address.
Too many results
Type more of the address or name to narrow it, or use the smart filters to reduce the list first.
You cannot find the search field
It is the field with the magnifying glass, labelled Search Data, at the top of the List Stacking view.
You are looking for a lead, not a prospect
Use global search. Leads that have been created from prospects live in your pipelines.
You cannot find the List Stacking section
It is the fifth icon on the left panel.

Summary
You searched your List Stacking records. You opened List Stacking from the left panel, clicked the Search Data field with the magnifying glass, and typed a property owner name, property address, or mailing address. The search ran in real time as you typed, and a few characters were enough to bring up matching records.
