How to Check if a List Stacking Record Is Already a Lead in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

Before you work a prospect from a stacked list, it is worth knowing whether that property is already in your pipeline.

The Status column tells you. A record showing In Leads is already in your active leads pipeline.

Steps

Step 1: Open List Stacking

Go to your List Stacking tab.

Step 2: Find the property

Find the property address you want to check.

Step 3: Read the Status column

Look at the Status column for that record.

If it says In Leads, the property is already in your active leads pipeline.

Important Notes

  • Check this before contacting a prospect. A property already in your pipeline is likely being worked by someone, and may already have a conversation history you do not want to cut across.

  • This is what stops the same property being worked twice. On a large stacked list, the same address can easily be prospected by two people on different days.

  • In Leads means active pipeline. It tells you the property has already been converted into a lead rather than sitting as a raw prospect.

  • Scan the Status column when you start on a list, rather than checking properties one at a time as you go.

  • If a record is already a lead, the lead is where the work happens. Update the lead rather than treating the prospect as a fresh opportunity.

Troubleshooting

You are not sure whether a property is already a lead

  • Check the Status column in List Stacking. In Leads means it is in your active leads pipeline.

You cannot see the Status column

  • It may be hidden. Open the column panel from the icon on the left and check the box for the status parameter.

You want to open the lead itself

  • Search for the property address using global search, which covers your leads.

Two team members are working the same property

  • One of them may have been working the prospect while the other worked the lead. Check the Status column before starting on a list.

A property you converted is not showing as In Leads

  • Check the property address matches. Records are matched on the address, so a difference in formatting can leave the two unconnected.

Summary

You checked whether a List Stacking record is already a lead. In your List Stacking tab you found the property address and read its Status column — In Leads means the property is already in your active leads pipeline and should be worked there rather than as a new prospect.
