How to Sort the Leaderboard by Emails and SMS in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

You can sort your leaderboard by Email Sent or SMS Sent, ranking your team by messaging activity.

Both work the same way, and both sort in either direction.

Steps

Step 1: Open your leaderboard

Go to your leaderboard.

Step 2: Find the column

Locate the Email Sent or SMS Sent column.

Step 3: Click the arrow

Click the arrow beside the column.

The leaderboard sorts by that metric, in descending or ascending order.

Important Notes

  • Every column on the leaderboard sorts this way, so the same arrow ranks by revenue, calls, emails, SMS, or anything else shown.

  • Message counts measure output, not outcome. Someone sending a high volume of SMS is not necessarily producing conversations or deals. Sort by revenue as well before drawing conclusions.

  • Check the time period first. The leaderboard defaults to the present year, so a messaging ranking may cover twelve months rather than the week you meant.

  • A very high SMS count is worth a second look. Heavy outbound texting is what draws carrier attention, and it contributes to numbers being flagged. Volume is not automatically a good sign.

  • Emails sent depends on leads having email addresses. Someone working a phone-only list will show low email numbers through no fault of their own.

Troubleshooting

You cannot find the Email Sent or SMS Sent column

  • It may have been unchecked in your column settings. Re-check it to bring the column back.

The order looks wrong

  • Click the arrow again to switch between descending and ascending.

The numbers look higher than expected

  • Check the time period. The leaderboard opens on the present year.

Someone's email count is very low

  • Check whether their leads have email addresses. Leads without one are skipped by anything that sends email.

Someone's SMS count is very high

  • Check deliverability as well as volume. High outbound texting contributes to carrier filtering, so a big number is not necessarily a good result.

You want to rank by something else

  • Click the arrow beside whichever column you want.
