How Do I Sort the Leaderboard by Emails Sent?

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

You can rank your team by Email Sent, so the leaderboard shows who is doing the most email outreach.

Sorting works in both directions — most emails first, or fewest first.

Steps

Step 1: Open your leaderboard

Go to your leaderboard.

Step 2: Find the Email Sent column

Locate the Email Sent column.

Step 3: Click the arrow

Click the arrow beside Email Sent.

The leaderboard sorts by emails sent, in descending or ascending order.

Click the arrow again to reverse the order.

Important Notes

  • A low email count is often not the person's fault. Leads without an email address are skipped by anything that sends email, so someone working a phone-only list will always look inactive on this column.

  • Check the time period before reading the ranking. The leaderboard defaults to the present year, not the current week or month.

  • Emails sent measures output, not results. Sort by revenue as well before drawing any conclusion about performance.

  • Every column on the leaderboard sorts the same way, so the same arrow ranks by revenue, calls, or SMS.

  • If email is the only activity you want to look at, uncheck the other columns so the view is not cluttered.

Troubleshooting

You cannot find the Email Sent column

  • It may have been unchecked in your column settings. Re-check it to bring the column back.

The order is the wrong way round

  • Click the arrow again to switch between descending and ascending.

The numbers look higher than expected

  • Check the time period. The leaderboard opens on the present year.

Someone's email count is very low or zero

  • Check whether their leads have email addresses on file. A lead with no email address cannot be emailed, and is silently skipped.

Your whole team shows low email numbers

  • Check that a sending email account is connected and verified. Without one, nothing sends.

You want to rank by something else

  • Click the arrow beside whichever column you want.
