REsimpli Help Center — Frequently Asked Questions. Replacing QuickBooks, multi-company books, bank connections and the bookkeeping service.

Written by Anthony Estrada

From the New REsimpli Live Unveiling sessions, September 8–11, 2026.

Can REsimpli Accounting replace QuickBooks?

  • Sharad has run his wholesale and flipping businesses entirely in REsimpli for about five years without QuickBooks, and many investors do the same. Additional reports were added for 6.0, developed with input from a CPA. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)

Can I link my QuickBooks account to REsimpli?

  • No. REsimpli tracks more detail than QuickBooks supports — transactions can be attached to a specific marketing campaign and to a specific property, which QuickBooks cannot represent. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)

Can I keep separate books for several companies?

  • Yes. With the 6.0 update you can view books for each company separately and at a consolidated level. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)

Can I keep several bank accounts for different purposes?

  • Yes. Multiple bank accounts within one business are supported, along with rules, tags, and bulk transaction updating. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)

Does REsimpli offer a bookkeeping service?

  • Yes, as a paid add-on, available through the store in your account. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)

Can I connect my bank account?

  • Yes. Bank connections go through Plaid, so your bank username and password never pass through REsimpli. (Day 2 and Day 4 Webinars)

Can I bulk update transactions?

  • Yes. Search transactions and bulk update the vendor, category, or tags in one action. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)

Can I attach an expense to a specific marketing campaign or property?

  • Yes. In banking you can attach a transaction — for example direct mail spend — to a specific campaign and to a specific property. This level of detail is why QuickBooks cannot be linked. (Day 2 Webinar, Sept 9)

Can REsimpli send 1099s?

  • No. This is not available. The workaround is to pull a vendor report showing vendor name and amount, and use a third-party service to issue them. (Day 4 Webinar, Sept 11)
