Step 1: Prepare the Import File
Create a spreadsheet containing your buyers list information.
Supported Fields:
First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Email
Phone Number
Contact Type
City
ZIP Code
Tags
Buyer Questions
Note: Only the following fields are required:
First Name
Phone Number
Contact Type
Step 2: Set the Contact Type
For buyer imports, ensure the Contact Type column contains:
Buyer
You may also use:
Agent
depending on the contact category.
Step 3: Open the Contacts Section
Navigate to the Contacts section in REsimpli.
Step 4: Start the Import
Click the Import icon.
You can:
Drag and drop the file
Or browse and upload the spreadsheet manually
Step 5: Map Spreadsheet Columns
Match the spreadsheet columns with the corresponding REsimpli fields.
Example:
First Name β First Name
Last Name β Last Name
Phone Number β Phone Number
Step 6: Map Tags and Buyer Questions
If your spreadsheet includes:
Tags
Buyer Questions
Map those fields accordingly.
Buyer Questions can be mapped to multiple fields if needed.
Step 7: Continue the Import
After mapping all fields, click Next.
Step 8: Assign Contact Ownership
Select the user who will own the imported buyer contacts.
You can:
Assign a single owner
Assign multiple owners
Step 9: Submit the Import
Click Submit to begin importing the buyers list.
Step 10: Map Cities (Optional)
If applicable, the system may ask you to map:
Existing Cities
Target Cities
If your file does not contain city information, you can skip this step.
Result
The buyers list will be imported into REsimpli and each buyer profile will include:
Contact Information
Tags
Buyer Questions
Assigned Owner
