What's the difference between Pin Mode and Tap-To-Add mode in REsimpli Driving for Dollar app?

Step 1: Start Driving

Open the Driving for Dollars feature and start a driving session.

By default, the app starts in Pin Mode.

Step 2: Use Pin Mode

While in Pin Mode:

  1. Tap a property on the map

  2. The system will display the property details before adding it to your list

Information Displayed in Pin Mode

Property details may include:

  • Property Address

  • Existing Lists

  • Lead Status

  • Vacancy Status

  • Marketing History

  • Sale Price

  • Last Sale Date

Step 3: View More Property Details

Click More Information to review additional property data before deciding to add the property.

Step 4: Add the Property

After reviewing the information, manually confirm and add the property to your Driving for Dollars list.

Tap-to-Add Mode

Step 5: Switch to Tap-to-Add Mode

Tap the mode selector to change from Pin Mode to Tap-to-Add Mode.

Step 6: Use Tap-to-Add Mode

While driving in Tap-to-Add Mode:

  • Tapping a property immediately adds it to your Driving for Dollars list

  • Property details will not appear before adding

Purpose of Tap-to-Add Mode

Tap-to-Add Mode is designed for faster property collection while driving.

Key Difference

Pin Mode

  • Displays property details first

  • Requires confirmation before adding

  • Best for reviewing property information

Tap-to-Add Mode

  • Instantly adds properties

  • Skips the property detail popup

  • Best for quickly adding multiple properties while driving

Result

Users can switch between Pin Mode and Tap-to-Add Mode depending on whether they prefer:

  • Detailed property review

  • Faster property collection during Driving for Dollars sessions
