How to Send Automated Text Messages to Leads in REsimpli
Option 1: Send Automated SMS Through Call Flows
Step 1: Open the Call Flows Page
Go to Settings, then select Call Flows.
Step 2: Create or Edit a Call Flow
Create a new call flow or edit an existing one.
Step 3: Configure Automated SMS for Missed Calls
Scroll down to the SMS section and enable:
Send SMS for Missed Calls from New Callers
Enter the automated text message you want leads to receive.
Initial SMS messages should include your company name for 10DLC compliance.
Step 4: Configure SMS for Repeat Callers (Optional)
You can also create a separate automated message for repeat callers.
Step 5: Save the Call Flow
Save the call flow to activate the automated SMS responses.
Option 2: Send Automated SMS Through Drip Campaigns
Step 1: Create a Drip Campaign Template
Set up a drip campaign template with an SMS step.
You can:
Use an existing SMS template
Create a custom text message
Step 2: Add a Delay Step
Set a delay duration before the SMS is sent (example: 5 minutes).
Step 3: Open the Phone Numbers Page
Go to Settings, then select Phone Numbers.
Step 4: Edit the Campaign
Select the campaign phone number you want to automate.
Step 5: Configure Drip Automations
Under Drip Automation, assign the drip campaign to trigger for events such as:
Leads Created Manually
Incoming Missed Calls
Incoming Answered Calls
Leads from Integrations
Leads from Web Forms
Leads from Website Submissions
Step 6: Save the Campaign Settings
Save the campaign configuration to activate the automation.
Step 7: Test the Automation
Submit a test lead or missed call to confirm the automated SMS is working correctly.
Automated messages are sent from the REsimpli phone number connected to the campaign.
