Answer:

There are a few reasons why the system does not allow you to make contacts, texts, calls, or emails even after you successfully register for 10DLC.

  • Newly added phone numbers are "Not Linked" by default, but according to the carriers' guidelines, they will be "Linked" within 1-2 weeks. Please wait for the carriers to link your phone number before sending text messages.

  • If the system does not allow me to make contacts, texts, calls, or emails even after the successful 10DLC registration, the leads you have in your account may not be assigned to a campaign.

You can modify the campaign assigned in the lead, and it should match the campaign you have in your phone numbers.

Here is a step-by-step process on how to assign a campaign to a lead:

  1. Open the lead details page.

  2. Click the ‘Actions’ button at the top right and then click the ‘Pen’ icon. A new window will open.

3. Go to the ‘Campaign Name’ under the ‘Contact Info’ section; click the dropdown arrow to select the campaign name.

4. Hit ‘Save.
