How to Filter Leads by Assigned User or Role in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

You can narrow your leads down to the ones a particular person is responsible for — for example, every lead where you are the assigned Acquisition Manager.

The filter works by role first, then person, which means you can pull up someone's leads for a specific responsibility rather than every lead they touch.

Steps

Step 1: Open your filters

  1. Click Manage Filter on the right side of your screen.

  2. Click Add Filter.

Step 2: Choose the role

The available parameters are your roles.

Search for the role you want — Acquisition Manager, for example.

Step 3: Choose the person

In the drop-down, select the team member whose leads you want to see.

Step 4: Continue

Click Continue at the bottom.

Step 5: Save it or use it once

You now have two choices:

  • Save the filter — enter a filter name, a description, and the access and save location

  • Apply without saving — for a one-off check

Important Notes

  • You filter by role, then by person. This is more precise than filtering by user alone, because it shows the leads where that person holds that specific responsibility.

  • The parameters available are your roles, so the filter reflects however your team is structured.

  • Save the filter if you will use it again. A filter for "my leads as Acquisition Manager" is worth keeping.

  • Saving requires a name and a description, the same as any other saved filter.

Troubleshooting

You cannot find a filter parameter for users

  • The parameters are roles. Search for the role first, then pick the person from the drop-down.

Your results include leads you did not expect

  • Check which role you filtered on. Someone may hold more than one role across different leads.

Your filter will not save

  • Both a name and a description are required.

You only need this once

  • Apply the filter without saving it.

Summary

You filtered your leads by assigned user. You opened Manage Filter and Add Filter, searched for the role such as Acquisition Manager, selected the team member from the drop-down, and clicked Continue — then either saved the filter with a name and description, or applied it without saving.
