Overview
You can assign several leads to a team member at once, rather than opening each one.
Assignment is by role. You are not simply attaching a person to a lead — you are saying who fills a particular role on it, such as the Dispo Manager. This is what makes role-based filtering and role-based task assignment work.
Steps
Step 1: Open your pipeline
Go to the pipeline holding the leads you want to assign.
Step 2: Select the leads
Select the leads you want to assign.
If they are all under the same status, there is a shortcut: click the three dots on that status and click Select. This selects every lead in that status at once.
Step 3: Open the selected action dropdown
The selected action dropdown appears once leads are selected.
Click it.
Step 4: Choose Assign Team Member
Find and click Assign Team Member.
Step 5: Choose the role
Choose the role you are assigning — for example Dispo Manager.
Step 6: Choose the person
Select the team member who will hold that role on these leads.
Step 7: Click Save
Click Save.
That person is now assigned to every lead you selected.
Important Notes
You assign a person to a role on the lead, not just to the lead. The same lead can have different people in different roles — one person as Acquisition Manager, another as Dispo Manager.
This is what fills the role slots that automations rely on. An automation that creates a task for "the Dispo Manager" needs someone actually holding that role on the lead. If the slot is empty, the task is created with no assignee and nobody sees it.
Selecting by status is the fastest route. The three dots on a status let you grab every lead in it without ticking boxes.
Bulk assignment is how you rebalance a workload. When someone leaves or a new person starts, this is the tool rather than opening leads one at a time.
Check what you have selected before saving. Selecting a whole status is quick, and so is assigning more leads than you meant to.
Assigning a role does not notify the person unless something else is configured to do so.
Troubleshooting
You cannot see the selected action dropdown
It appears once you have leads selected. Select at least one lead first.
Automation tasks are being created with no assignee
The role that automation assigns to is not filled on those leads. Bulk assign someone to that role and the tasks will have an owner.
You cannot find the leads you want to assign together
Filter the pipeline first, then select. Filtering by campaign, status, or another parameter narrows the list before you bulk assign.
You assigned the wrong person
Repeat the process and assign the correct person to that role.
Your bulk options are missing
Bulk actions need leads selected, and some bulk functions are only available in list view.
A team member cannot see the leads assigned to them
Check their role and permissions as well as the assignment. Being assigned and having access are separate things.

Summary
You bulk assigned leads to a team member. Inside your pipeline you selected the leads — using the three dots on a status and Select to take every lead in it — opened the selected action dropdown, chose Assign Team Member, picked the role such as Dispo Manager and the person to fill it, then clicked Save.
