How to Create a New Lead Pipeline in REsimpli

Written by Anthony Estrada

Overview

A pipeline is a separate board for working a group of leads through their stages.

You can create as many as you need — for a second market, a different lead type, or a campaign you want to keep apart from your main flow — and rename, reorder, or remove them afterwards.

Create a Pipeline

Step 1: Hover over Leads

Hover your mouse over Leads.

Step 2: Click the three dots

Click the three dots.

Step 3: Click Add Pipeline

Click Add Pipeline.

Step 4: Name it

Enter a name for the pipeline.

Step 5: Click Add Pipeline

Click Add Pipeline to create it.

Manage Your Pipelines

Step 1: Open Manage Pipelines

Go back to the three dots and click Manage Pipelines.

Step 2: Make your changes

From here you can:

  • Rearrange the order your pipelines appear in

  • Rename a pipeline

  • Delete inactive pipelines you no longer use

Important Notes

  • Name pipelines for how your team talks about them. The name is what people scan for every day, so make it obvious rather than clever.

  • Order your pipelines by how often you use them. The one your team lives in should not be last.

  • Deletion is for pipelines you have genuinely finished with. Before removing one, check what is still in it — leads sitting in a pipeline nobody looks at are easy to forget about entirely.

  • More pipelines is not automatically better. Every extra board is somewhere a lead can go quiet. Create one when you have a real reason to work those leads differently, not just to categorise them.

  • Renaming is safe and reversible. If a pipeline's purpose has drifted, rename it rather than creating a new one and leaving the old one half-used.

  • Moving a lead between pipelines is done through Change Status, not from the pipeline management screen.

Troubleshooting

You cannot find Add Pipeline

  • Hover over Leads first, then click the three dots. The option is in that menu.

You want to reorder your pipelines

  • Use Manage Pipelines from the same three dots menu.

You are not sure whether a pipeline is safe to delete

  • Open it and check what is in it first. Deal with anything still live before removing the board it sits on.

A pipeline has the wrong name

  • Rename it from Manage Pipelines rather than creating a replacement.

Your leads are in the wrong pipeline

  • Move them using Change Status on the lead. Pipeline and status are changed together through the same control.

Your new pipeline has no statuses set up

  • Statuses are configured separately, in grid view on the pipeline itself.

Summary

You created a new lead pipeline. You hovered over Leads, clicked the three dots, chose Add Pipeline, entered a name, and clicked Add Pipeline. You then opened Manage Pipelines from the same menu, where you can rearrange your pipelines, rename them, or delete the ones you no longer use.
