Overview
You can change the order of the columns shown in List Stacking, so the information you use most sits where you can see it.
One limit is worth knowing before you start. You can reorder columns from the second column onwards — the first column stays where it is.
The same panel also lets you hide columns you do not need.
Steps
Step 1: Open List Stacking
Go to the List Stacking section.
Step 2: Click the icon on the left
Click the icon on the left.
The available parameters appear.
Step 3: Rearrange your columns
Rearrange the parameters into the order you want.
You can reorder everything from the second column to the last.
Important Notes
The first column cannot be moved. Reordering starts from the second column.
The same panel hides columns. Unchecking a parameter removes it from the view, so you can reorder and hide in one place.
Put what you scan most immediately after the first column. If your team works from a particular data point, that is where it should sit.
Agree an order with your team. If you talk each other through records over the phone, everyone seeing the same layout saves confusion.
This is a display change only. Reordering columns does not affect your data or your filters.
Troubleshooting
You cannot move the first column
The first column is fixed. Reordering applies from the second column onwards.
You want to hide a column rather than move it
Uncheck the parameter's box in the same panel. The view updates straight away.
You cannot find the icon
It sits on the left of the List Stacking view.
A parameter you want is not listed
The panel shows the available parameters. If something you expect is missing, it is not one of the columns available in this view.
Your columns look different from a colleague's
Compare your orders in the same panel and agree one arrangement.
